The town spent nothing on those two projects. They were both done by town residents with donations. I believe REMS did the triangle.

The residents did ask the town for help, and were denied, so they took it upon themselves to do it.

Is that ALL these folks think is important????????

Kinda like the city of Schenectady folks thinking that Central Park is really THAT important in their list of priorities!!!

Must be nice that rems can afford the time to 'plant flowers'.

SO WHAT !!!!
Some people take the initiative to spruce up what was looking
like a $hithole, who cares what the motive (if any) is? Can't
people just do things without a motive?  Most of us do. It's those
that believe everything has a motive that don't!

JUST BECAUSE SISSY SAYS SO DOESN'T MAKE IT SO...BUT HE THINKS IT DOES!!!!!

As I understand it the roundabout was done by a bunch of folks mostly from the Coldbrook / Highbridge neighborhoods. It's been documented on the "You're probably from Rotterdam.." FB group. This same group of folks has also been making their presence known at Town Board meetings as well. I'm pretty cynical, but at this point I'm going to give them a pass and say it was just them wanting to do something nice.

As for the triangle and REMS, well I'm not sure about that one, but again for now I'll give them a pass also.

And yeah, I thought the only elections this year were for judges.

I believe the money already comes out of our pockets in the form of taxes.....

AGAIN.....

WHAT'S THE VALUE FOR TAXES PAID????????????????????????????????????????????

OR

FEES COLLECTED????????????????????????????????????????????????

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

I'd rather see the cash spent on the community as a whole vs a RPD employee retirement contribution

what pass.....you the "flower" police or what???????....seems like the Highbridge community has far more class than the rest of the neighborhoods when

it comes to community service.....and NO TAX MONEY was spent on this GOOD deed.......not everything is realted to "OUR" money....

so cool it.......let it be and let the flowers flourish.....maybe it will wake up the rest of Town folks to do good deeds instead of always being so negative..

CHILL people..
