The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

It's obvious the American School System failed on Cicero!

I would support free taxpayer funded state or city colleges for all Americans if we stopped fighting wars.

Be careful what you wish for.  'He who pays the piper picks the tune'.  You will have access to colleges, the college that a bureaucrat says you are eligible to attend.  It would be be like Obamacare, instead -ObamaEd.

Lol, my college access days are in the past.

I just sponsored my oldest grandson's education for the 2014-2015 session.

I don't think tuition to all colleges should be free, but government funded schools I wouldn't mind.

It's not like I will be around to pay for it.

I'm helping to pay for it now, my grandchildren can pay for it when they get out of school.

exactly.......accreditation is dangerous too....it makes giant  bureaucratic systems too big to change.

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Wow...I still can't get over the fact the German universities are charitable institutions.  They get paid no money.  If we could get professors in the IS to give up their 6 figure salaries, U.S. universities could do the same.

Yup I guess all the professors, janitors, administrators, etc all donate their time for nothing, good job guys. Box is right why aren't our teachers working for free?

Does playing 'the dunce' take the place of an actual response for you?  Do you feel like you've made a
statement when your response has nothing to do with the issue???

Is your point, to fill the post with words, regardless of their connection to the subject of the discussion?
Is this really the best you can do???

Cissy & Henry, with similar political views, seem to have a similar problems with 'new concepts':

"Where to get a free college degree"
