He's looking at homeowners to pay higher taxes for his real estate business.

City's homeowners paid half million dollars in 2014 for falling home sales, he's proposed an increase to his "business" inching toward 3/4 million dollars for 2015.

He must be using some of it to pay Frank and Mary's unpaid tax bill

And if they don't pay the taxes, the city charges interest and penalties AND the homeowners lose their homes AND their credit gets ruined.

And tell me how do you call your bank and tell them not to pay your taxes that are mandatory escrowed?

Don't pay your mortgage, file bankruptcy and move out of the city and rent.  The bank needs you more than you need the bank.

I don't know what people are scared of.  If a person gets sick or loses their job and misses 2 mortgage payments, they will foreclosure sooooo quick.  They don't give a sh*t.  It's the same logic when I hear people talk about giving your employer 2 weeks notice when leaving the company.  They don't give you 2 weeks notice, they terminate or layoff immediately.  I think there is a generational shift going on.  People used to believe they had some moral obligation to their employer or bank, and were scared to forsaken their masters. Understand, THEY DON'T GIVE A sh*t ABOUT ME, YOU OR ANYBODY ELSE.  All that banks do care about, is making sure the majority of people still fear "ruining their credit".  The belief in credit almighty is what keeps everybody enslaved to the banker.

Great Job Gary McCarthy! Keep raising taxes you will have more foreclosures in your lap.  More blight, boarded up houses, and crime ridden neighborhoods. Keep giving away tax payer dollars to the rich downtown developers and keep chocking the city property ownerss to pay for all the downtown businesses taxes. Your A Lame Duck Mayor!  Oh and keep giving the police salary raises. Remember the people vote for a Mayor not the Labor Unions so continue your pathetic pandering. You will be out of the door soon at City Hall! Democrats are tired of you!
