Just so that there is absolutely no confusion on the matter, I believe that George Amedore MUST be elected.  I should have labeled this thread that way.  He is correct on all of the important issues and, more importantly, will better represent the people of the 46th State Senate District.

I think he'll win this time. but it hearing him....he practically says that in politics it is VERY difficult, if not impossible to pass anything thru in nys that isn't liberal (union) based. it will be an uphill battle for him to represent his constituents in this state.

Yes.  That is why, voters have to keep the politician's feet to the fire.  It is also why conservative Democrats have to remain vocal and challenge the extreme liberals in their party.

As for Mr. Amedore, i have complete confidence that he will work very hard to represent his constituents' best interests.  It has been a long time since we had a good representative in the State Senate  (not in my lifetime anyway) and I still think that Clark Wemple was the best NY State Assemblyman that I ever knew (sorry George and Angelo but you both are tied for the #2 spot on that list).
