Allowing work by a non licensed contractor can also void your own home owners policy. Instillation of appliances by unlicensed contractors also typically voids warranties.
that is nothing more than a money making scam! TRUST ME!!!! again....there are good and bad with or without a license. IT IS JUST A SCAM!!!!! |

An "individual" cannot get insurance to cover them when doing "electrical" work; or "contracting" work; or anything similar. The insurance is specific to the need for people getting insurance to cover their work related activity. Don't think there is an insurance company around that would issue a "blanket" policy to cover any/all types of work without seeking proof of qualification to perform the tasks intended. I do not believe a license is guarantee of work quality or competence, but at least it's better than hiring the guy on the corner.
there's not an insurance company in NYS that wouldn't love to be everyone's 'insurance', especially with the lobbying they do and the regulations that they get passed.....and that's after campaign contributions.... everyone works with a lot of someones, that have college degrees that apparently make them 'qualified' just because of the paper they have, but when you work with them you wonder how they got their F'en pants on that day..... it's legal extortion with some kind of bizarre club house standard |

again, extortion......they are chains on freedom......it's also called compliance......healthcare will be the same.... the MD will order a test and if you 'choose' not to have it you will 'void' your 'free government health insurance' for certain diagnosis..... SHOW ME THE $$ TRAIL...... |

Stockade group fears casino traffic
BY HALEY VICCARO Gazette Reporter The Stockade Association has some concerns about traffic from Galesi Group’s proposed Mohawk Harbor project off Erie Boulevard, especially if the site is approved for a casino. The association said increased development at the former Alco site would have more drivers attempting to find an alternate route to Erie Boulevard, resulting in more traffic within the Stockade Historic District. “It’s a wonderful thing, the renaissance of Schenectady,” said Mary D’Alessandro, president of the Stockade Association. “There are certain things we would have to deal with, though, with development at that site. Anytime there is development there are concerns, like with traffic.”
Like paying: 1. the taxes on a property that could have a multi hundred dollar assessment (owned by a billionaire who has more than enough money to pay the taxes of the whole city for the next 100 years) 2. the taxes of the STAR double dippers and TAX DELINQUENT Metroplex favored architect and wife Mary the board of assessment member (who will not reduce anyone's taxes and brags that houses in the city are selling well even though official deed records prove otherwise) -- the tax delinquent political cronies of the city dem and plex who will be allowed to keep their house despite being tax delinquent |
| Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent. Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies. |
