He writes about the "crown jewel" is Central Park!    He must be as ignorant at the cheerleaders for downtown.   Central Park is far from being the crown jewel.   It should be, but the dems have stolen money from the homeowners and given it to the millionaires downtown and put the gold crown on King Phillip.



Notice the couple says they'll give it one more year and they are out.  Well all of us who are intelligent and know the real truth about the city is that this couple is already underwater on their mortgage and they are going to lose a fortune.


Bought the house for $104,900.  Got a mortgage for $101,400.   Right now, the pay off balance on their mortgage is about $99,060.   Based on the assessment value and the equalization rate, the market value according to the city is only $98,537.   Naturally, we know that houses are selling for much less than the so called "full market value" shown on the final assessment rolls.  

So, one more year, they MIGHT be able to sell the house for $90,000, but even one year from now the $97,168 based on an amortization table and market interest rates.

By the way, the taxes I posted are obviously a bit less.   The sewer and water taxes (not tax deductible) are of course higher than they were a few years ago, it's just that the mayor and his dem city council and dem admin REFUSE to publish the fees anywhere, nothing is ever published in the newspaper, they don't post anything online, etc of the breakdown of these charges

Now look at this.   The previous owners of this house bought the house in August 2007 for $127,000.  

And put it up for sale in August 2010 asking $$134,900.

Sold it in January 2013 for just $104,000


Under TWO DEM mayors, a DEM city council, a DEM county government, and Metroplex, they  previous owners LOST a whopping $23,000 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


So where are those people on these boards that claim the city is in a renaissance??????    What have they got to say about homeowners suffering such a HUGE loss under this dem mayor and his team?    Remember those comments "the mayor and his team are doing a wonderful job, keep up the good work."    The TRUTHS about such MASSIVE LOSSES incurred by average people has silenced these cheerleaders.   They have fled into hiding in disgrace.


And the couple that bought the house in 2007 bought for $127,000 and took out a mortgage for $114,000.   Apparently they went their separate ways in 2008 and the deed was changed into the name of one of them only.  Then that sole owner took out a mortgage for $119,000 in April 2008.  Around that time, interest rates were between 5 and 6%.   With a 5% rate, the amount owed at the time of the sale in 2013 is roughly $110,000.   And having sold for $104,000, the owner was still left having to pay off $6,000 of the mortgage.

Negative or not, I will post facts.   People need to be educated in the truth about the city.   I speak the truth, provide the facts to support those truths.  

The TRUTH is the house that the letter writer fell so much in value under the city and county dem leadership that it's previous owner lost money, and the current owners, if they were to sell next year most likely would not sell the house for how much they owe on it based on their 30 year mortgage and the typical interest rate
