What's going on with the city clerk.   Shouldn't he be fired for failing to do his job.  He is required to do minute of city council meetings, so where are they?   Last meeting posted was August 28.

Is he working on his wife's campaign on the taxpayers' clock?

OK, he's been doing the dog license thing.  Well, maybe the city needs to hire someone due to more responsibility?  Oh wait, that means taxing the homeowners to pay for the additional work.   The downtown millionaires won't pay for the services they get.

Only commenting because someone asked me about the dog issue thing two weeks ago and where were the minutes.  Yeah, I looked.

No minutes posted in 4 months.   FOR SHAME.

How hard can the city's programming be?  Hell, they could probably use a dbaseIII for DOS and it's pitifully simple.

Doesn't the clerk know MS Word?  That's been the standard for years, probably a couple decades.   Wait, he can type the agenda but not the minutes?

Or maybe some intelligent person types the agenda, and the clerk is taking the minutes and can't type?  Doesn't the clerk take a keyboarding test to insure 50 wpm with less than 5 errors?   And 50 wpm is super slow.

Was waiting for my dog license renewal to show in the mail, it never did. However a delinquent notice did show up about six weeks later. Apparently they also can't even get the mail out on time, the envelope
was dated six days after the date on the letter which actually cut down the time I had to pay it before, hold on to your hats, further action would be taken. Of course when I asked no one had an explanation for anything. All taken care of for another year, maybe better next time or not.

this is happening in healthcare too...

There was someone that spoke at the council meeting last night, it was on the issue of the dog shelter, but she said something about how her dog was lost or stolen, finally it was confirmed that her dog was at the shelter but the city clerk gave her some kind of assinine run around about needing proof ov various things that I think maybe she had already given them.

Clearly this city clerk is not at all qualified for his job.
