Wonder if a Schenectady list is coming out?
The mayor of Schenectady owes the city residents an explanation of why he is not forcing Phillip Morris to pay back the money to the taxpayers that Morris STOLE from the taxpayers!
The mayor also owes an explanation of WHY he appointed a THIEF to the board of assessment! Mary Mary and her hubby STOLE from the taxpayers via their double dipping with TWO STAR exemptions, but he appoints where to make decisions on grievants in the city.
HEY DV, DID MARY MARY PAY BACK THE TAXPAYERS YET?????????
We know that the former THIEF Eric Ely who STOLE tons of taxpayer money because NO ONE in the school district nor in the city would stand up to him and gave him that lavish payout, he was also ILLEGALLY taking an exemption. The one good thing, in an odd sort of way, is that Ely cannot sell his house.
Ely's Schenectady house has been offered for sale since January 2010 and after more than four years, no buyers because NO ONE wants to buy a house IN the city.

STAR exemptions will become a thing of the past for EVERYONE in the future!

Many STAR exemptions were removed because the property didn't qualify for an exemption. Some homeowners were claiming STAR exemptions on property other than their primary residence.

YES.
STAR exemption is ONLY for the primary residence. And ONLY for people whose official legal address is in NYS.
So, when Philip Morris FLED from the city, has he has proven NO ONE wants to live IN the city (just like the big cheerleader proves it every day), when Morris FLED the city, he went to apply for a STAR exemption on his new house. On the STAR application forms, OFFICIAL LEGAL DOCUMENTS there is a question on there that says solmethig to the effect of "do you have the STAR exemption on any other house?" and Philip Morris responded NO even though he knew damn well that he did have it on his old house. So he LIED on an official legal document. Then he LIED again later when he was caught after some it is believed some intelligent people reported him. In the news he gave some excuse that he "thought" that the exemption comes off when someone moves and maybe it was that he said he thought it changes when one changes their address on their driver's license.
What a bunch of BS.
But then, the reason why Philip Morris is so full of crap, he LIES (like someone who posts on here) is that school tax bills CLEARLY, ABSOLUTELY CLEARLY WITHOUT ANY DOUBT state ON the bill that you have the STAR exemption.
And think about this, he paid X for taxes on his city house. Well, anyone with an ounce of intelligence would knot that if you tax bill did not increase by at least $500, that means you still have the STAR exemption.
But Morris is so full of BS it's pathetic.
Then McTHEIF mayor never bothered to do any research when he appointed that Mary D'Alessandro to the Board of Assessment because she and her hubby have their Stockade house AND they had a second house in Fulton Co if I remember. They ILLEGALLY had the exemption on BOTH houses. But the INCOMPETENT mayor never bother to check them out. Here is a person he was appointing to the board of assessment who LIED to the assessor herself!
And now the INCOMPETENT mayor is appointing someone as assessor who knows absolutely NOTHING about appraisals, valuing property, real estate, real property law, has NEVER owned a house and NEVER seen a property tax bill in her life. But SHE will the one people first go to about their assessment being incorrect.
Yeah, McTHIEF is appointing her because she worked on his taxpayer funded failed attempt at selling houses in the city. He put this "committee" together to "tweak" the program. Obviously the committee along with his choice for assessor (100% unqualified) were big failures at fixing the program because houses are still NOT selling in the city.
Has Morris paid the taxpayers of the city back?
Has Mary Mary (quite contrary) paid the taxpayers of the city back?
