Having sex resulting in pregnancy changes your life priorities, it doesn't limit your life, liberty, or happiness. Unless that child can kill you, jail you, or control your emotions.
Often women/girls have children because of family/societal pressure and the result is economic burden that can completely end any plans of further education, lifestyle or career choices.
Your claim is that having a child can't make a girl/woman unhappy?
It doesn't limit your life or lifestyle?
Liberty is freedom from control, interference, obligation, restriction, hampering conditions, etc.
All pregnancies are not on purpose.
Even idiots that can't even take care of themselves, get pregnant.
Having seen children beaten and abused, being blamed for the parents miserable existence, I certainly feel it does limit the parents rights to live their own lives.
Plus the children of these abusive people did nothing except be born.
Reproduction should never be forced upon anyone.
Additionally I believe no abortion should be performed without the consent of both future parents.
Paternity testing can be done easily.
Non-Invasive Prenatal Paternity (NIPP): A non-invasive prenatal paternity test is the most accurate non-invasive way to establish paternity before the baby is born. The process is state-of-the-art, combining the latest technology and proprietary methods of preserving and analyzing the baby’s DNA found naturally in the mother’s bloodstream. This test requires only a simple blood collection from the mother and alleged father and can be performed any time after the 8th week of pregnancy. The test is 99.9% accurate.
DVOR again is not making sense. If you believe that "EVERY HUMAN LIFE is sacred, then you must be outraged at liposuction which kills hundreds of millions of cells of HUMAN LIFE. If you see someone bleeding you must be terrified because that blood contains BILLIONS OF CELLS of HUMAN LIFE. If you were have your appendix removed, I'm sure you would have a funeral for the HUMAN LIFE that was lost.
Really DVOR. Human Cells are HUMAN LIFE. Just like a Human Zygote is HUMAN LIFE... BUT THEY ARE NOT HUMAN BEINGS.
You sound like an a** when you make stupid statements like the ones above.

Often women/girls have children because of family/societal pressure and the result is economic burden that can completely end any plans of further education, lifestyle or career choices. The man that has the child with that woman/girl are put under the same family/societal pressure have the same financial burden. Women are also put under family/societal burden to NOT have children until their 30's and now are susceptible to high risk pregnancies and higher risk for miscarriages or birth defects. Pick your burden. Anyhow...burden of lifestyle isn't what the 'life' in "life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness" stands for.
Your claim is that having a child can't make a girl/woman unhappy? Yeah...The Yankees not making the playoffs made me unhappy too. Not exactly what the founders intended when they were saying "pursuit of happiness"
It doesn't limit your life or lifestyle? Again...Life and lifestyle are two different things. The founders were referring to life, as in the government or anybody else could not take your life from you, as in kill you. They weren't referring to being able to afford a BMW instead of settling for a Honda Civic. Or wanting to be a lawyer instead of a waitress.
Liberty is freedom from control, interference, obligation, restriction, hampering conditions, etc. No, liberty is the state of being free within society from oppressive restrictions imposed by authority on one's way of life, behavior, or political view. Because I am OBLIGATED to get my food and water to survive, doesn't mean I have no liberty. The government stealing my money so I have less money to purchase my food and water, means I have no liberty.
Having a baby does not give the baby authority over the mother and father. It cannot take away liberty, life, or happiness. A baby is an obligation.
A woman has a right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Having a child often can severely limits those options.
So if parents have a handicapped child and it "severely limits" their option to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness than they should just be able to end the handicapped child's life?
What about a ill or aging spouse or parent? Any one person can claim - oreven the government that certain person(s) is(are) putting "severe limits" on his or her life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness -- and then just end that person(s) life(lives)?
You don't sound like a friend of Liberty and a person who believes in the U.S. Constitution. You sound like someone living in Hitler's Germany or Stalin's Russia. And if that is how all Libertarians think than they are a bunch of loony whack-jobs.

Yes, if a woman has a special needs child and planned on having a healthy child. The financial and emotional stress that the baby may cause is good reason for terminating the child. It is only fair to the mother.

Yes, you are correct.
Living people are exactly the same as a fetus.
Idiot.
People have rights.
People are born with some rights.
Other rights are restricted by the government by age, sexual preferences, criminal record, etc.
A fetus has rights when it gets it's government issued birth certificate.
A fetus has rights when it gets it's government issued birth certificate.
That's interesting...The founders didn't have birth certificates registered with the government. Not only that, it can take up to 3 months to get your child's birth certificate. So I guess a parent has until the postmark date on the birth certificate envelope to decide if they want the baby.

Libertarians believe in the Constitution.
The Constitution does not have one single word regarding fetuses having equal rights to already born persons.
Change the Constitution if you disagree.
But keep up the personal attacks and stereotyping all Libertarians.
You show your total ignorance by comparing all Libertarians are exactly like Hitler and Stalin.
You probably have never even met 2 Libertarians in your entire life.
You preach a lot of hate and intolerance for someone in your position.
Jesus would be proud of your hate filled intolerant verbal attacks on the non-believers.

Lol.
The government told me, no papers, no rights.
From now on when posting sarcasm, let's use purple text.

But seriously, even for people who personally oppose abortion and would not have one themselves, I doubt that there will ever be a halt to legal abortions in this country. And it really wouldn't have as much to do with the legislators as much as judges anyway, well, until they rule and then legislators start trying to re-do laws/make new ones.
agree.

Christian extremism.
Advocating that ALL human life is valuable and wanting to protect ALL human life from the moment of conception to the moment of natural death (consistent life ethic) is neither hate-filled nor intolerant. It is the exact opposite -- It says that ALL human life is worthy and should be loved.
As for the number of Libertarians that I have met -- many more than 2. Quite honestly, I don't think Libertarians are friends of liberty. Just like members of the Independence Party in New York has nothing to do with being Independent or Independence.
Oh -- and we are working on changing the U.S. Constitution by getting a Pro-Life amendment added. This is THE most important Civil Rights battle yet to be fought in our country -- giving ALL human life protection from conception until natural death. It is a battle that will take some time but it will be won.
