humanity hasn't changed, it's always been this way and it always will be...remember a utopia ALWAYS turns into a dystopia....
ALL civilizations fall....
there will always be bullies
there will always be greed
there will always be 'the bottom'
there will always be 'the top'
there will always be the 'not so future thinkers'
there will always be those who can figure 'it' out
there will always be those who can't figure 'it' out
everyone needs to eat
everyone needs shelter
everyone needs water
procreating, yes, just happens even with access to birth control
there will always be some kind of 'religion' even if it means the president becomes the 'jesus statue'
humans will always seek meaning in things
etc etc......
the one thing we can count on is the mystical magic of 'precrime' and behavior modifications will continue to be tried throughout
a society. Sometimes we call it guilt. Sometimes we call it mental health. It occurs in churches, voting booths, public schools etc.
Whatever we call it and try to manipulate it with unless we erase our humanness, these awful things will always happen and we will have to deal with it. Society isn't any worse than it was 2000 years ago, 1 million years ago etc.
we live in a loosely controlled chaos and as each law/regulation gets passed to control society and behaviors the less responsible
we become and the more fear/apathy takes over. |
