A "Dear Editor" letter in the Schenectady Gazette written in 1988





Now, FACTS are the writer of the letter bought the house in July 1988 for $70,000.

She  sold in in 2006 (under the days of the former mayor full of BS) for $90,000

If you look at the current final assessment roll (city website) you will see that the assessed value is $107,900, but it has a full market value of $87,724.   So the house has FALLEN IN VALUE under the DEM LEAERSHIP of the former BS mayor and the current mayor McThief.
But remember, that market value is based on the state's equalization rate but it is well known (as I have proven) that home price sales are selling below the market value that is shown on the assessment roll).


Now look at the CURRENT taxes ITEMIZED .

Please note however that the water and sewer break down (charge per each) is a few years old.  I'm assuming there is no separate shower from the tub and obviously a half bath (the house has 1 full bath and 1 half bath) is not going to have a tub/shower.  THe prop width actually is 42 feet so "spiget fee" is only doubled).   The water and sewer columns on the right are the ones that would reflect the cost for this house about two years ago, of course, the dems have increased these costs.







Now, unlike DV, my statements are FACTUAL.  
The DEMS actually INCREASE taxes and MASSIVELY so; and they have caused MASSIVE DECREASES to the property values AND the city's tax base



So the letter writer was told her combined tax bill (all the various taxes) would be $1,084.

But the house was reassessed upon her purchase (the welcome stranger policy of the dems) so her tax bill became $1,880

She was obviously writing this during the time the then council was reviewing the DEM Mayor Johnson's proposed budget.

Today, over 25 years later and with 10 years of DEM leadership, this house is probably barely worth $80,000.   But even using the alleged full market value shown on the 2014 assessment roll, the house has increased in value by only a paltry 26% in OVER 25 YEARS!!!!!!!!    


And actually it has falling in value by 23% since the last city reassessment in 2010.   Just four short years UNDER DEM LEADERSHIP the house has been reduced in value.


Now, lets' talk taxes.  DV CLAIMS that the Democrats actually lower taxes and that taxes are lower than in the 1970's    


But unlike DV, my statements are FACTUAL

Well, let's see, the tax bill on this house after the letter writer wrote it was $1,880.

Today the total tax bill on the house is $4,751    (surely a bit more because of the water and sewer charges.


So the tax bill in 1988 was $1,880.   IF the taxes had doubled, the taxes would be $3,760 today.  

But look at the FACTS.   The REAL FACTS are that the taxes have increased 2.5 times what they were 25 years ago !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A 150% increase in taxes!!!!!!!!!!!!

He is only following the modus operandi of those in his party. Tell a blatant lie and repeatedly assert that it is the truth. Call those who disagree with you radical or or assign another derogatory label and work to denigrate their reputations.  If that doesn't silence your opponents, engage the authorities to investigate, threaten with prosecution for fabricated violations and harass them into submission and compliance

Why are you wasting your time with dvor?
This person is obviously not in a political position to legislate laws/mandates.
There are clearly more than enough dem supporters out there, other than dvor.
If that were not true...dems wouldn't be in control.
Why don't you invest your spewing at a city council or county leg meeting where you can 'really' make a difference instead of trolling someone who posts on a plain old message board.
Run for office...actively support an opposing candidate.
