However, the Catholic church receives millions of Americans’ tax dollars to pursue its alleged good works of refugee resettlement and other immigration services, shown as “Government Revenue” in the 2010 Catholic Charities graph, so it’s not so surprising that Washington and the church would work in partnership:

.

The catholic religion is a joke!!! It's not a 'religion'....it IS a government!!! They sold their soul to the government decades ago!!!

'render unto Caesar (Gov Almighty) what is Caesar's Gov Almighty)   and render unto God what is God's. The Vatican is confused....I guess!

Again...........I don't care what the catholic church does. there's no point. they are protected under the guise of 'religion'. If the parishioners are that stupid....then so be it!

Anyone who seriously believes that these tens of thousands of children made it thru the 1800 miles  through Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and El Salvador, and through the entire length of the country of Mexico, through the groves of the human smugglers with absolutely no help from the governments of Mexico and the U.S. seriously needs to have his head examined. imho

State militias are gathering at the border at this moment in Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, and even CA to stop the flow which it seems the border patrol can not do, even the minutemen project is back up and running asking for any volunteers, he expects 3500 volunteers not to mention state militias from around the country.

Maybe for some but there is real problems and concerns for the majority of those going, who is going to care for these kids? Are they going up for adoption or will the government be their parents. Is there any talks happening to bring these kids back to Mexico, that is if their government even takes them back. Why is money being wasted to transport them all over the country instead of bringing them back to their own country. I understand your position but even you have to realize our country is not set up correctly to handle them, they're simply a drain on everyone.

Sometimes I think L4L may support US citizens loading their unaccompanied children onto a train and shipping them to South America.

Many libertarians believe in open borders, however that system would be doomed to fail in a country like ours, we can already see the costs to us from this recent surge of illegal immigrants since October, nearly twice as many have poured in on a already struggling country and system not prepared to deal with them.

That's funny, I just unloaded my kid on Brazil.

She's at the World Cup.

I have opened my home to people who had nowhere to stay many times.

Only because we spend all our money on the military and on programs of exclusion.

There is no asterisk on the Statue Of Liberty that says "limited offer."
