Wait, it's not a warning, it's just a news report.   The dems in the city will only issue a warning it it'd crime against their precious rich cronies.   To hell with the financially struggling homeowners in their neighborhoods.  Neighborhoods don't mean anything to city leadership.

Quoted Text
SCHENECTADY — City police are investigating three burglaries early Tuesday morning in the Mont Pleasant and Central State Street areas — neighborhoods that are connected by a tunnel under I-890, city police spokesman.

Lt. Mark McCracken said two break-ins took place on 21st Street while the third occurred at Watt Street. The windows in the back of the occupied homes were open.

The thieves, who have not been caught, stole a wallet, purse, money, jewelry and video game systems, police said.

Police urge residents to be vigilant, report suspicious activity, lock doors and windows, turn on outside lights and turn on security systems.

It's unclear if the burglaries are linked to Rotterdam break-ins, police said.

Anyone with information about the burglaries can contact detectives at 382-5245

PRICELESS........

$15/hour minimum wage doesn't help with this.....I'm sure these folks need jobs as dishwashers/janitors/card dealers etc....

where are the jobs for these folks?

Well that would explain all the cop cars I saw this morning on 21st street this morning. There was three or four cars. A bit unnerving to be driving through that many police so early in the morning. I'm glad it's just robberies though because I really was expecting to see a homicide report.

Yes, two of the break ins occurred on 21st Street. There were at least three cop cars on that street this morning. There were so many cops cars I figured it was a murder.

Oh, my bad, when I think of street names of "that higher number" I'm thinking more of Bellevue area, when I think of "number" streets in MP I think of the ones of Crane St.  Forgot the odd ball

I work with someone who lives there. They said the area had signs that the burglars were VERY busy in the area.....

they are 'prepped' now...
