or maybe the city leadership should try learning from the past or forever make the same mistakes over and over again?

You have to remember, DV has a MAJOR reading comprehension problem.

(which is probably why he never got his degree in college, why he failed in the seminary, why he no longer is an insurance agent nor has his credentials current, and why he is not an independent, self sufficient adult)

So far the City-County leadership is doing quite well.  Schenectady is getting better with every passing month.

Really??????

Then explain why the tax base is in massive free fall?

Why are property values going down?

Why are people fleeing the city in  droves?

Why are home sales falling and home sale prices falling?

Why are there so many zombie houses?

Why are there increasing numbers of tax foreclosures every year?

Why are there so many boarded up homes in the city?

Why are taxes going insanely high?

Most of all, if the city is so wonderful, why do you REFUSE to put even your pinky toe IN the city?????

Gee, DV does everything to AVOID entering the city.  In fact, he is so desperate to avoid entering the city that he has changed churches, his previous church was within the city limits, his current one is in Niskayuna (he's trying to brown nose the rich)

Of course DV will always pretend to not read my posts.  And further he will NEVER provide one teeny weeny shred of evidence that shows that the city is getting better for the homeowners, taxpayers, and residents who live in the city's neighborhoods.

brilliancy doesn't come with being elected.....foresight doesn't come with being elected......common sense doesn't come with being elected.

being elected means that greed, personal agenda and being a "YES" man to your particular party ....

this means that whatever the top banana's agenda is .....that's what you do.....party loyalty...they call it...

where is the loyalty to the residents and taxpayers ???????......the past sometimes can show you the way of what succeeded and what didin't

so far as the city goes.....there is enuf food and drink to serve a whole state......and that is located in downtown and the surrounding communities...

so where is there steady employment with loyalty anymore.....no where to be found around here.....

we will all end up on the welfare rolls....and that isn't a bad idea considering how business is conducted in an around the county...

Broadway better have a direct line to it's remodeled "bank".....

With the nice weather, it is great to have the opportunity to buy a slice of Isopo's pizza and then eat it while sitting at the outside tables.  Of course, one can come back the next day and buy a great sub from Lyle's.

With the nice weather the people in the  city have to figure out how to get money to fix their houses before the city comes and measure the lawn height, and they need to figure out how to get money to paint the slight peeling paint

You have your two mommies to give you money to go stuff your face.  After paying the taxes the people have to money to go downtown to eat.

So it's better to ignore the negatives, pretend they don't exist?

Then what?    Will the dems stop stealing from the homeowners to give to their cronies?   Ignore the high taxes will make the high taxes go down?

Ignore the negative and the blight will magically disappear?

Don't think anyone on this earth has  wilder imagination than you, DV

Never changes.  A 50+ year old "adult" who does not support himself, and does not pay taxes, cheers for homeowners to lose their homes due to the city leaders making the homeowners pay for the taxes of billionaires downtown so the city/co/plex leaders to get their kickbacks

Families with incomes of under $40,000 pay the property taxes of multimillionaires.    The poor pay for the rich.   What would a church leader think of his outreach person supporting the poor paying for the rich
