Under the current DEM leadership in the city, people are fleeing the city, often faster than they can put their house up for sale.

Most of those houses are beautiful !!!! Back in the day when houses were worth something and taxes not though the roof people would be snatching them up.

Yes, it's time to help the city. See the truth, however negative, and work to change the leadership and STOP the wild uncontrolled spending on downtown which is doing NOTHING at all for the residents of the city, just doing everything for the rich cronies of the current leadership.
So many empty houses, people flee the city before they sell. Obviously they are find a place out of the city, get a mortgage while their credit is good, then put their city houses up for sale via abandoning them. Actually, it would be interesting to know how many owners have continued paying taxes on their city houses after they leave.
