Just heard another siren, it is on Sch'dy Street the good news is I don't see the thick smoke anymore. Hoping it was not a house. |

SCHENECTADY - Police have arrested a Schenectady man in connection to an arson back on Tuesday. Schenectady Police arrested 35 year-old Rashawn Pratt after matching a description of a suspect of an arson that took place at 544 Schenectady Street(news says house was vacant) back on May 27. Pratt was taken into custody on Thursday at around 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of State and Hullett Street. He was held overnight and arraigned Friday morning.  |

That guy panhandles every day at theb corner of Hullet St. and Albany St.
He asks for 2 dollars because he's hungry.
I told him "just ask for ten dollars, because if someone is stupid enough to give you two dollars, they probably would give you ten." |

just got home from my grandson's Bday party, coming up state st not far from McClellan and I tell hubby I think that house is on fire. It was a vacant
boarded up two family with smoke out front. Was just going to get on the cell phone to call 911 when fire trucks headed that way.
