I don't think about whether I'm taken seriously.  That really doesn't concern me.

BTW, politics is the debate of ideas and the philosophy of governance.  That may be a little too complex for you.  I know you, and box, and Joey have no problem with executing a citizen charged with no crime, without having a chance to defend themselves against those charges.  It's a little too close to the letter of the law for you.  You celebrate his death along with celebrating the death of due process, probable cause, judicial oversight, and the right to defend yourself against those charges in a court of law.

At least you're honest sombody, you admit that it doesn't matter if the letter of the law is followed, and lawlessness is just a way of life now, and judicial oversight is an antiquated system of government.  Only if Box and Joey would admit that.

And I'm the anarchist? lol

The Pharisees were experts at following the letter of the law. The spirit of the law was proven to be a much better guideline.

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Your argument is that ANY US citizen can be CAPURED OR KILLED based on the sole decision of the president without any judicial oversight.  US citizens have ZERO legal protection.

What other US citizen can be executed without judicial oversight?  You've already argued in favor of it.

OK.  Go back and look at the previous posts about SWAT team killings.  It will save us both a lot of typing.

If you are going biblical, read Jesus' story about the robber that beat his victim and the Good Samaritan that cared for him while the Rabbi's walked by letting the person lay there beaten.  Do you stand up for the person getting executed that was charged with no crime?

CIA doesn't have legal capabilities.  I would be answering a false analogy.  It does change the fact a US citizen was put on a capture or kill list for a YEAR, without charging them with a crime.

Do you have 'legal capabilities"???
If a murderer was in the process of killing a citizen, would you be charged if you shot that murderer?

Re read the part about the CIA "CAPABILITIES" ... the third gives them the "legal capabilities".

I'm pretty sure I can't put a person on a capture or kill list for a year and claim self defense.  I believe in the eyes of the law it would be considered a kidnap or murder list.  I would be considered a serial killer.

You're right, I meant law enforcement capabilities, like your domestic SWAT team analogy.

City, county and state police have "enforcement capabiles, but not the same as FBi or Federal
"capabilities".
The CIA has yet other "capabilities" but you just seem to disregard those "capabilities", and
pretend that they don't exist.

I can post it again for you... but every time I've posted them, you 'pretend' that I didn't.

One more time for Cicero:

...Upon the request of the President of the United States, carrying out or overseeing
covert activities and some tactical operations by its own employees, by members of the U.S.
military, or by other partners.

They don't have law enforcement capabilities.  And yes, it's at the presidents request, and without judicial oversight.  An FBI wanted fugitives list requires a grand jury indictment, unlike the president'a capute or kill list, that is at his own discretion.(maybe you think the FBI should just start making kill lists without judicial oversight)

One more time, the CIA has no law enforcement capabilities.  Al Awlaki was not killed because he violated a law, that would require criminal charges.  He was killed by the CIA, an agency that does not enforce laws.

It was never the intention to "apprehend" Al Awlaki like you claimed, but to capture or kill him, based on the sole decision of the Obama Administration.

This wasn't a SWAT raid, not even close.  He was on a kill list for 1 year.  One year is hardly imminent danger.
