Yes if they follow the guidelines they will be legal.  If they deviate from them, they may be held for
their actions in a court of law.

What court justified the Al Awlaki execution to make sure it met legal guidelines?

The same one that sets guidelines for the SWAT Team shootings.

Oh, a court?  What court set the guidelines for Obama's drone strike on a US citizen in Yemen?  I must have missed that judgement.

What did Iraq do to deserve the attacks in their country?
Terrorists do not target the guilty.

If you think you are challenging my position on Iraq, you are wrong and haven't read anything I've stated previously.
So let me give you Reader's Digest....
We had no business going into Iraq.
Iraq was George Bush's personal war because Saddam tried to kill his "daddy".
The jackass even publicly stated that on national TV.
So Iraq was HUGE MISTAKE. Getting rid of Saddam may have been a good
idea, but could have been managed in many more ways without military
intervention and loss of lives.

Box, quit trying....his answers are written on a Hoola-hoop.
What do you expect from someone
that wrote-in answers on multiple choice quizzes.

a common 'enemy' keeps a nation together like glue.....who makes them an enemy? I don't have an issue with
Islamists/Jews/Buddhist etc etc....

maybe cannibalists  but haven't had the scary opportunity yet....

most enemies are because of $$$/resources/trade control etc etc etc....we like to think the humanitarian sh!t is the reason
but, if that's the case then why isn't the US in places like the african desert countries....BECAUSE YOU CAN'T HAVE
AN ENEMY WHEN THEY HAVE NOTHING YOU WANT TO STEAL/BUY/TRADE OR TALK OUT OF......

Yep  exactly ,for you and most of this forum the Democrats  are the enemy.

Lol, yes, you did shade-in one of the 4 choices.  Writing in the answer would mean you may think outside of the 1 of 4 choices given to you.  E is never a choice.

Too funny...you actually complimented me.  I'm blushing.  Thanks Joey!

The same law that allows the FBI SWAT teams to take out killers.

It was a CIA drone, not an FBI SWAT team.  I don't think the CIA has a SWAT team or serves warrants.

Side note...Who did Al Awlaki kill?

No one that I know of directly.
Neither did Timothy McVeigh, until the bomb went off.  Suppose a SWAT Team had a sniper on
McVeigh when his truck drove into the Murrah building.  McVeigh didn't kill anyone YET!
Should the sniper have shot... or should he have waited until after hundreds were killed by McVeigh's
bomb???

Ok, who WAS Al Awlaki going to kill if the drone didn't kill him first?  Who was in Al Awlaki's cross hairs just before the SWAT had to take him out first.  What was his evil plot?  This is the scenario...right?

SEE BOX...TOLD YOU...!!! He thinks he's thinking outside the box,
when reality is he writes in his answer because:
(a) he doesn't know the right answer
(b) he didn't understand the question
(c) he skimmed only the first 2 words of the question
(d) he's a moron
(e) none of the answers fit his agenda
(f) all the above
