Another DEM balloon burst last night as the mythical casino on ALCO was tabled by King Peggy because the developers plans were incomplete. Another example of total
incompetence. Why put a casino on the City Council agenda if the developer was not ready to proceed? Ten years ago Senator Schumer made a fool out of himself with the first
"plan" for ALCO where thousands of employees once made trains that hauled the world. Ten years later all that has happened is a Nisky hillside was dumped into a giant mound.
Nuclear reactor is still on site. Schenectady Steel is being threaten by the usual suspects. The DEM film studio is not coming. In the end County taxpayers will have another
park, that they can't afford and Section 8 apartments to further collapse the horrible rental market. Pipe dreams of million dollar condos on a toxic waste site are laughable.
These incompetents can't do anything without more taxpayer ripoffs and more governmental gin mills.

Of course. Two signs on ALCO property one for offices one for retail. Where's the sign for job creating manufacturing? Ten years ago I heard that Price Chopper is opening a
store there. Still nothing. No clean up of toxic waste. Nuclear reactor still onsite. Typical DEM production. Same political pigs at the casino.
Schenectady County has lost thousands of jobs since the DEM takeover and tax increases. And nothing can improve until they are all swept out of office.
