Why are you such a big coward that you refuse to addreses these FACTS, these TRUTHs, as evidenced by the HUGE INCREASE in the equalization rate in the city. Do you even have the slightest comprehension of what an equalization rate is? Do yolu?
Why don't you post here and address why the city will not do a citywide reassessment to lower the assessments.
Since home values are falling big time, why don't you speak about the refusal of your buddy dems to do a complete citywide reassessment and lower assessments?
You keep stating the city is in a renaissance; can you explain how falling home values are indicative of a city in a renaissance? Can you explain how a city is in a renaissance when people are refusing to move in to the city, including yourself?
If the city is in a renaissance, please explain why long time taxpaying homeowners are losing their due to inability to pay the taxes? Do you believe it is proper for the dems to force people with incomes of $40,000 to pay the taxes of the millionaires downtown?
Apparently food is the only thing he has knowledge of, and apparently a falling tax base, increased taxes, and taxpayer funded gin mills define a renaissance, but of course, NEVER post about the falling tax base. Post a statement claiming that taxes are lower now than 10 years ago but refuse to provide one teeny weeny shred of evidence.

Oh coming soon will be some assessment reductions that have succeeded. Sad that people have to either pay to have it done or take so much time out of their lives to go through the processs.
