I am not a fan of casinos, but can having one In Schenectady really make things any worse? They shouldn't do it on the ALCO land though. They should tear down the hill, or MP and put it there. Could probably even do a hotel with some nice views. |

Actually - if the casino weren't to be built at the ALCO site - there are several good locations for it IN the Town of Rotterdam. I have absolutely NO problem with having a casino in the neighborhood. |

 More than happy to sell my City property for a casino. There are no other buyers. Maybe Brucker and Erickson can establish casinos too? We should be so lucky as to have a casino in this County. We don't need no high paying jobs, entertainment nor tax revenue not squeezed out of property owners-no? Flood zone, nuclear reactor site, ALCO is not going to get a casino. Where are the Section 8 apartments announced 5 years ago? I agree with DVOR and support a casino anywhere in the Capital District. Realize the nit wits prefer listening to Atlantic City interests. |
