After saying "NO" to a trash fee in the city, the LIAR Stratton uses his REPUBLICAN predecessor's idea and proposes a trash fee.
And his fully then dem council UNANIMOUSLY says "YES" !!!
And then Stratton proposes INCREASE to the trash fee. And his fully dem council UNANIOUSLY says "YES" !!!
Stratton moves on.
McC -- the very council president who says ABSOLUTELY NO to a trash fee when the republican's proposed it, the LIAR McC then goes and proposes more hikes to the trash fee!!!!!!!!!!
And the ACTUAL, UNAVOIDABLE, INCONTROVERTIBLE TRUTH is that the city is in big decline, the tax base is in MASSIVE FREE FALL, property values are tumbling, and there is far more than a three year supply of houses for sale under the dem mayor and dem majority council!
And also, the ACTUAL, UNAVOIDABLE, INCONTROVERTIBLE TRUTH is that city taxes are SUBSTANTIALLY HIGHER than they were 10 years ago.
And also, the ACTUAL, UNAVOIDABLE, INCONTROVERTIBLE TRUTH is that the county portion of the taxes is SUBSTANTIALLY HIGHER than they were 50 years ago.
These are the absolute FACTS.

It's funny how things work out McThug predicted his own political demise. Flash back to 1999 McThug said "It's still a City with three years worth of houses on the market because people can't sell their property when you talk about these things it just drives another nail in the coffin." Fast forward to today and same could be said! At least Mayor Al sold three years worth of houses in his last term as Mayor. What did you do McThug??? I GUESS YOU SOLD YOURSELF TO THE DOWTOWN CRONIES.

After 15 years....looks like only the 'rich' got richer....while the residents got poorer!!! Roads are not passable. Crime is rampant. School is substandard. Vacant properties everywhere. Home values plummeting. Highest taxes in the state! One of the highest in the country! No jobs!
