Can't "cap" the pigs at the trough.  

Wonder why the Governor did not close the fee loophole when he imposed the property tax cap.   Surely the drafter of the legislation must of been aware of this possibility, to sidestep the legislations intended positive goal.

Schenectady COUNTY taxes are 4X higher than Saratoga County and 3X higher than Albany County. BTW, Albany is trying to get out of the nursing home business when our
County machine builds a new home. Yes we need a new Mayor/Supervisor but first get the DEM stooges out of our pathetic County Legislature. Nothing can improve with the

And once again, with the initial post in this thread, there were DV's very own words:   without any shred of actual evidence to back it up



And once again, after two years and a request for him to post evidence to back up his statement about the county taxes, he STILL will NOT respond.


We all make statements and provide evidence, but NOT ONE TEENY WEENY SHRED OF EVIDENCE  FROM dv - NOT EVER

We only need to look refer to the receipts for our tax bills to see that the county taxes are much higher than they were even 10 years ago, and compared to the 1970's, well we turn to our parents' tax bills and our jaws wind up in China when we see how high they have gone and how wrong DV is, but rest assured, he will NEVER provide any EVIDENCE of his statements.

Hey, he's incompetent, I get disgusted when I see others who should know better try to back up all this corruption and incompetence.
Cuomo would make me laugh, look how he's going to fix NY, whose mistakes would he be fixing? He doesn't mention that, does he? Fresh from his stellar patronage appointment at HUD. I say I would laugh, but it isn't funny, in a few years I will be able to leave New York if I choose, but many are trapped here.
