Here ya go!

There you have it.

The former industrial capital of the world a hundred years ago is now the city of unicorns and rainbows.

Burritos and cookies for everyone!

Of course there will be a modest increase - where do you think Metroplex gets their funding?

Pay the piper. What choice do you have?  All for the idea of "renaissance" and "public good"

We are advised NOT to judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.   Funny how that works.

Hey there, nice to see you pop in Pat Z, hope all is well, you are missed.

However, I will take exception and disagree with you.  A decade later and things actually have changed........FOR THE WORSE.

A decade of Dem party leadership in the city.

They hate those houses on Hamilton Hill so they would rather see them demolished at taxpayer expense than to see them stabilized at lesser cost with families living in them.
I've already pointed out the fallacy of "will" when speaking of the supposed benefits of construction downtown. "Will" is future tense, people use that when talking down to the taxpayers about how much when don't understand the benefits of these ripoff projects. Notice no one but the village idiot comes on here to refute any of our assertions, which are based in fact.
Are all those instant tenement apartments on Barrett Street rented out? Overhead garage doors right on the street. Chain link with a view of the service areas of businesses. Rubbish and meters. That was somebody's idea of upscale, who is that working out?

"Upscale". Ha ha. They sound so ignorant, throwing that around. You know what "upscale" means? Overpriced.
What do they think is eventually going to happen? They will draw all the renters from the neighborhoods, they will spend all their money downtown, and create a self-sustaining Potemkin Village and then they can charge the remaining few property owners to demolish the pesky "blue collar" houses that we have "too many" of in our "working class" neighborhoods? Yes, I've heard all those descriptions thrown around by our self-anointed 'elites'. They really hate working people, and anybody who is actually from Schenectady.

Yeah the ONLY ones living in fantasy land are the dems and YOU.

You arte the one who is IGNORANT.

You are IGNORANT of the falling tax base
You are IGNORANT of the falling home values
You are IGNORANT of the falling home sales
You are IGNORANT of the falling home sale prices
You are IGNORANT of the increased number of people fleeing the city
You are IGNORANT of the inability of the ability of people to sell their houses in the city
You are IGNORANT of the increase in blight
You are IGNORANT of the increase in vacant residential units--from apartments to singles family homes

As you are an adult age man who lives like a little boy, as you are 50 years old and have not yet left the nest 30+ years after attaining the age of adulthood, a you are NOT a homeowner, as you are not a self supporting independent adult, as you are NOT a taxpayer, you have no clue whatsoever about household budgets and finances and the impacts on them by your dem party when your dems steal from the homeowners to give money to their multimillionaire political cronies downtown.
