Purchased for $100,000.
Can you imagine! "We bought our house for just $100,000, we are paying $11,000 in taxes."
IF the purchasers got 100% financing at 4%, then they the mortgage is $500 per month and the taxes are about $1,000 per month!
Tax portion of your housing cost is twice as much as the paying for the house. And this is indicative of a city in a renaissance?
Not a post form a "nayboob" but rather a pots from a "truth teller." Truths told with evidence to prove them.
But really two otherwise magnificent historic houses on a street with just 11 houses go to foreclosure ad a 3rd house sells at a massive loss.

Typical nonsense babble form the cheerleader for downtown and dems when he cannot accept the FACTS that we are not trying to be negative, but rather we ("nayboobs" as he has dubbed us) are stating FACTS, stating TRUTHS, all supported with EVIDENCE (which we provide) in order that people will learn the truths and start demanding changes. Spew nonsense babble and NEVER post on the evidence of the MASSIVE falling tax base, the HUGE INCRESE in taxes, the DRASTICALLY falling home values (especially the huge amount of loss upon selling one's house), falling home sales, cuts in city services, etc., all while the rich political cronies of the dems are exempt from paying property and school taxes. And be sure to avoid stating why you are not living IN the city--neither buying a home and not even renting. Heck, not even renting an apartment in the whole county, not even in the state or the country |

How nasty this jerk is. I feel bad for the people who have put their money, and lots of loving hard work, into this beautiful block, only to see it going to ruin. This is certainly a historic hosing of the poor unfortunates who live there. I know some young families who would just love to own a house like one of those. They are priced out of their dreams so a bunch of hogs who don't even live here can suck up obscene amounts of money from poor homeowners like these. |
