NISKAYUNA — A Schenectady man faces drunken-driving charges after his vehicle was found by police stopped in a driving lane on Route 7 after having run out of gas, state police said today.
Donald J. Birch Jr., 29, was charged Feb. 5 with one count each of driving while intoxicated and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Birch was taken to the state police barracks in Princetown for processing, troopers said, but refused all blood-alcohol tests. That led to an added charge of refusal to submit to a chemical test.
Birch was arraigned and ordered held on $500 cash bail or $2,500 bond. He posted bond Tuesday and was released.

I'm wondering how much of his rantings are alcohol fueled. And will he now claim he was mistreated by the State Police. As far as I'm concerned he's an idiot. |

no one should be labeled.....he has a problem....let's address that first.....that is he may be addicted to alcohol......
not everyone is perfect like others profess to be
at least he ran out of gas ....that was pure luck.....thank goodness....
