Great choice - Ed Kosiur is a good person and will do a great job on the City Council.

So, if he's so great and the city is so wonderful, would you care to tell us when you are going move IN the city and live IN the city?   YHou hae proven that you avoid the city like it was the plague.

We can beat this to death..........but Lumpy WAS the perfect choice for the 'party bosses'. They will only appoint/select those that will tow the line.

he's a great choice for 'the party'. They had to give him a job 'somewhere' since he is unemployable.

btw....who will be filling his 'created job'? Or will he be doing BOTH?

Ed Kosiur is a great choice for EVERYONE.  He is a dedicate, public servant who has and will continue to work hard for the people.

Or he's a DEM pawn who has been waiting in the wings with his cushy made-up job.

Now that the DEMS have a way to push this man into a position he NEVER could have been elected to.... he's ready to rubber stamp everything McCheesy tells him to.

He's a puppet and his strings are visible.

Galesi and the rest of the rich political cronies?

Or will he work for the taxpayers, and if you say taxpayers would you care to explain what he has done on the council in the past to prevent the reduction of the city's tax base, what has he done to prevent homeowners from paying the tax of the rich political cronies of the dem party?????

Come on DV, please elaborate.

You really do just like to spew babble, post fairy tales, and and then see your user name on these boards.

GB, not sure of it, but the posts read a lot of some of the posts on this board, bits and pieces of them. Used to post over at the table hopping blog, obvious troll postings, more than ridiculous

Everybody involved with this dirty stunt is disgusting. To those who would excuse it by saying the other party would have done the same thing, that is pure conjecture, basing a guess about how someone who doesn't exist would behave if that imaginary person were in a position that hasn't occurred.
Vince Riggi does not behave as a dirtball. He isn't gaining personally being where he is, he is doing the right thing. You can't tell me he would suddenly turn into an unprincipled slob if he had the chance, nor do I believe that all others would do that, either.

Leaving Riggi out of this equation.....if you believe others wouldn't turn into unprincipled slobs....I got a bridge to nowhere to sell ya.

I do believe there are people who aren't dirtballs, and are better than these current swine. Excuse me, nobody takes me for a fool, I'm tired of that excuse, "oh, the others WOULD BE (conjecture) just as bad". No, some people have a thing called "morals". Do you believe all elected officials would give money to cronies? Really? They ALL do that? BS.
This is a really crummy, sick bunch we've got here. Read about Tammany Hall. Things can change, when you change the players. History is full of examples.

You're absolutely right Madam X, this band of thieves has been conducting bad business for decades. Now that Vince Riggi is shining light upon such quasi-criminal acts, the public finally has a voice of reason on the Council. Vince may only be one man, but his actions are influencing others to step up and take notice.

EXACTLY! A yes man for the DEM machine. Here's the good new they're all finished in 2015. Roger Hull is running for Mayor and the working together crew is scared.
He's being picked because of his "involvement" in the school bored? Yeah, $10 million deficit and no end to the free fall.

I understand that he was a plumber prior to his political appointments.  With all the missing copper plumbing in abandoned buildings in Schenectady, what demand remains for a plumber?

This is all about getting Lumpy Kosiur a double dip nothing more. He is already pulling down $83,000 on his County lob job and has already served without distinction on the County/City council. The Gazetto
is against it and there is a question as to whether this will happen.
