New Poll Gives Democrats Slight Edge for Congress

A Fox News poll gave Republicans a two-point lead in the generic congressional ballot but
a new NBC/WSJ poll has Democrats ahead by two points, 45% to 43%.

A statistical tie is really a two point lead for Dems......Progressive leftist math at it's best.

Those Polls are kind of silly since its none of those races are national...

Progressive math???
I posted a tie, or a very slight lead for either party, depending on which poll you choose.
It's still too early for these numbers to mean much unless you are looking for an early trend.
10 months till an election is a lifetime, and everything can and probably will change in the meantime.

I agree with you 1000%.  They would need to do 435 surveys -- 1 in each district to get the real picture.

Plus - something like 95% of House incumbents are reelected.   Let's face it - the average American voter hates Congress but - regrettably - sends the same stooges back every 2 years.

We lucked out with Stratton and McNulty as our representatives in the past.  We will have to either wait awhile or move into Chris Gibson's district to get a decent representative now.

Hey. I'm not the one that going FAP! FAP! FAP! at my desk and bolding out that Dems are leading by two points in a poll (ignore the fact that it had a +/- 3.8% error margin).

The way it looks now, it's going to be a very long ten months for the Dems.

My original post cited two polls.  One with the Reps ahead by 2 the other with the Dems ahead
by 2, and this 10 months before the election.

FAP FAP FAP?  That's at your desk!
