Officers hurt, 3 people charged after large fi ght
SCHENECTADY — A large fight Thursday night resulted in three people being taken into custody and several offi cers suffering injuries, police said.
   A police spokesman late Thursday said the extent of the offi cers’ injuries was still being assessed, though none were life-threatening.
   The fight happened at about 8:20 p.m. at Schenectady and Van Voast streets, with multiple officers responding to the scene.
   Police were still piecing together what started to the fi ght and what charges would be fi led.
   At one point, Schenectady police officers surrounded a house on Schenectady Street after officers called for immediate assistance bringing Niskayuna, Scotia, Glenville, and Rotterdam police officers to assist at the scene.
