By the way, you still didn't answer the question I asked...sidestepped it like you always do when asked directly! Play with words and say nothing!
Which question? The human being question? I never claimed to know, that is why I asked boxy, since it was obvious to him. Go ask box. |

I never said I know. Reread the thread. It is box a rox that claims to know when exactly a human being comes into existence. My only claim is that a fertilized egg is a human life that can turn into nothing else besides a human being. So at conception the life of a human being begins.
Cicero has run this thing into the ground as he does with most threads. Just read this thread... He says a fertilized egg is a human life (we agree) that can turn into a???? It can turn into a human Zygote... Right Cicero??? Or do you deny the existence of a HUMAN ZYGOTE? I gave my opinion above that the time of Human Being from Human Zygote is not clearly defined. As postedCon above, some consider the time that Human Being begins is at the stage where it can survive out of the womb. Consider this... If Cicero is correct that a HUMAN BEING is present at conception... why don't we have a funeral when that zygote dies, as most do. |

what he said was ' Human life is, obviously, not a HUMAN BEING. " maybe he overused the word obviously ? like if someone is dead they are OBVIOUSLY not alive. |

So... a zygote, days old under Ciceros (supposed) view, is a fully functioning citizen of the usa.Is this (LMAO)Child eligible for welfare status??? If not, why not. If this CHILD is an American Human Being... is it eligible to file for public assistance as any other CHILD can do? IMO, this ZYGOTE is still just a Human Zygote. Cicero seems to think that this days old Human Zygote is also a CHILD. (Science disagrees, hence the term itself Zygote. ) Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words... See Below:
you see Box...you think only of the state.....so what if you were conceived on a ship/plane? does that make you nothing? sure I get the 'being' reference.....but you, I nor the government can define the extant of where a human exists....so to only allow the government to decide leaves a whole lot of leeway for strange pro-creation, much like China.... again, I am all for choice but certainly NOT because the state decided or some guy wearing a creepy robe smelling of incense. |

How would box define a human being if the state seizes to exist? My-my...He would be lost.LMAO
This is sad but true for most folks! It is a sad state of affairs when 'humans' need GOV ALMIGHTY to tell them when and what a human is! Ya just can't make this crap up! |

Sounds clever...But it's a bad analogy. Since we are talking about a fertilized egg, which isn't dead, it's a living human organism that when allowed to take its natural course, can only develop into a human being. A tadpole is obviously not a frog...or is it? |

Consider this... If Cicero is correct that a HUMAN BEING is present at conception... why don't we have a funeral when that zygote dies, as most do.
I would consider...If I said a human being is present at conception. I've said many times already, it is a human life unique from the mother and father, with it's own unique DNA. Conception is when human existence begins. That human life can terminate in 2 days, 2 weeks, 2 months, 2 years, 20 years, or 100 years. There are many scenarios that can terminate that life. -It can be a natural abortion at 2 days, due to medical problems with the mother. -At 3 days, a poison entered into the woman's body that causes harm to the life, and terminating it. -At 6 months, the limbs can be severed with a scalpel and removed from the womb piece by piece, terminating the life. -At 9th month, that life can terminate because the umbilical cord gets wrapped around the human life's neck when exiting the womb. -At 1 year of age, the life can contract a virus that it is unable to fight off, causing death. -Or at 18 years of age, that life can be conscripted by the government they were born into, and sent to Vietnam, and die in a rice paddy from shrapnel wounds. -That life can even live for 90 years, and die from cardiac arrest by an unknown cause. As far as when a culture holds a funeral to memorialize life, that would vary from culture to culture. As senders pointed out, some Chinese cultures begin counting the age of life at conception. But they're not Americans, so what do they know. |

LMAO! Cicero looks at these two creatures and thinks that they are the same. He sees no difference between them. Of course the tadpole MAY become a frog some day... but in this pic, one is clearly a frog and the other a tadpole... they are not the same thing. |

Sometimes the tadpole becomes a frog, but many times it dies before that happens... Just like a Human Zygote and a Human Being. |

Again... Cicero looks at these two pics and sees only one thing... A human Being. For him there is absolutely no difference between them. Cissy can't tell these pics apart since they are (in his mind) exactly the same!I can see one difference between the two... the suit in the 2nd pic is much better quality than in the 1st!
Box...How many times do you have to misrepresent my words in order for you to make your argument? When did I say HUMAN BEING? Remember...It was YOU that has no idea what constitutes a human being. You actually had to ask me what a human being was. I've consistently said a fertilized egg is a the beginning of a unique human life, with it's own unique DNA. |

Oh, so baring any interference with its development that may cause it to die(natural or not), it will ALWAYS develop into a frog? |
