it will lead to a person who purchased a pack of cigarettes that 'gives' one to a friend, being called a dealer.....

gotta love the legislators/regulators of our chains

What about when a person asks to buy one from a person on the street? Happens a lot, people offer a quarter or 50 cents for one.

The stores can give them away free with other purchases.

Code enforcers defeated.

Can't they put some sort of moratorium on  these stores? That is what is needed.
Screw the loosies.

They are all over the freaking place. On Eastern, I counted FOUR stores within two blocks of each other!
Is that necessary! NO! How can you possibly need so many of the same damn store?
And the litter, OMG!

And it's the same situation on Albany, how are they making profits with so much competition?
Oh yeah, selling stolen merch, etc. And the area around the stores are disgusting with litter and scary looking
people.

Moratorium or limit the number of stores in a radius! That would solve some of these problems.

How about the 25 billion code violations on the foreclosed properties owned by the city?
You can't fine yourself.

They make plenty of profit.

They sell hundreds of blunt wraps every night.

One store owner said he sells 400 bottles of snapple a week too.

They said the same thing about neighborhood bars.

Then they zoned them all out of existence and created the hazard of driving to and home from the remaining bars.

People are going to drink. They are going to smoke pot.

Sending government employees in, to harass them away, will result in bigger problems.

It always has in the past.

I see.

Code enforcers are limited to only properties that they haven't taken yet.

Once taken the code violations no longer  have any effect on the neighborhoods.

They are creating boarded up firetraps and neighborhood eyesores.

They are destroying neighborhood home values.

They see themselves as heroes.

EXACTLY! This whole County is being crushed by too much government and too many idiotic "enforcers". Lumpy Kosiur's types with clip board in hand. Mayor Hull should close
the useless Department of Development and fire every code enforcer. If you really want to get serious about cutting confiscatory taxes demand cuts. They understand this in the South not here. The City has 100's of vacant taxpayers that YOU have to pay for. Not counting the millionaire PILOTS up and down State St for McCheesey friends.
