A while back there was that issue with McCarthy's council seat.   If I remember, that Mootoovern came in 4th in the council race so he didn't get a seat.  Porterfield wanted the seat too.  

some council people said the BECAUSE MOOTOOVERN came in fourth, he should get the vacant council seat.

Why isn't the dem  council using the same rationale this time (for Burcker's seat), i.e, the fourth highest vote getter in the election should get the vacant council seat?

They won't say it now because the dems on the council are HYPOCRITES !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like her or not, Mary McClaine would bring a taxpayers' perspective to the ouncil and THAT IS what is needed on the council because all the dems are political cronies and in with the rich that they concur with that making the financially strurggling homeowners pay the taxes of the rich downtown is a good thing.

So who is the council looking to appoint?

Every day you look at the news , you have to pity the people of the city more and more.   But they are the stupid ones to voted for the cronyism and corruption.  They are the ones who vote for people who vote for higher taxes, vote for reducing thecity's tax base, and vote to reduce property values.

Taxes went up. You know by this type of outrageous behavior, none of these people are in it for any kind of good for the city, they are deliberately squeezing the last drop of blood out for their connected cronies and themselves. Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.
