It appears that all of us in the towns are going to be footing the bill for all of the city's tax delinquents.

Someone keeps urging consolidation, maybe the opposite is needed, have a separate tax collector for county level taxes that deals with homeowners direct, maybe some of these city people will pay the county taxes but ignore the city taxes.  One never knows

Why should we, who are taxpayers in the various towns, have to make up the difference when the city doesn't pay the taxes to the county just because the city people don't pay?

And cheerleader urges consolidation to spread the debt to those who us who are taxpayers - proven by official list--the tax roll--of people who are taxpayers.  And cheerleader for the dems and the city REFUSES to live in the city.  


By the way, King Phillip is more than a month overdue on school taxes on his city house.  Let's see what kind of grant the county gives to Proctors to cover his taxes.
