SCHENECTADY — A man was shot in the face by a BB gun Monday, the second BB gun incident in the city in as many weeks.
Police confirmed that a man outside playing with his puppy on Irving Place, near Vale Park, was hit in the face by a projectile.
The man was not seriously injured and told police he thought the shot came from the park.
Last month, the U.S. Postal Service shut down delivery to a VanVranken Avenue neighborhood for several days after a BB hit the mailbag of one of its carriers.
Deliveries were resumed Nov. 29 after U.S. Postal Service spokeswoman Maureen Marion said police had identified the shooter. Police have not confirmed that and have not announced any arrests.
The two incidents are several blocks apart and on opposite sides of the Union College campus.
Is this the street where there is that old school building, it was on the news some months back because of squatters, that school abandoned by that Fr Carlino who then closed St John's school?

there was a woman we knew that was driving down state street and someone shot her door glass out of her vehicle....while she was driving of course. That was about 5 years ago. Scared the crap out of her. She was an older women.

Walmarts, online, pretty much anywhere. Probably bought for them by a older friend or relative. I had my first BB gun given to me on Christmas when I was 12, although by then I was already familiar with real firearms and knew the do's and don'ts, something these kids were never taught

ever watch COPS..???.....show the law driving all day and nite in high crime areas....they catch many
at their game......and it's not all put on....know that for a fact....
SOOOOOOOOO,,,,protection is needed in high crime areas....24/7....365 days.....not just at certain times..
pulling people over for minor infractions....such as a light out.....etc..
