SCHENECTADY — Five men were arrested Wednesday for allegedly patronizing a prostitute, city police said.

The men were arrested and charged with one count of third-degree patronizing a prostitute, a misdemeanor, police said Thursday.

The men were a 33-year-old from Medford, Suffolk County, a 42-year-old from Canajoharie, a 25-year-old from Schenectady, a 44-year-old from Saratoga, and a 30-year-old from Lebanon, Madison County.

The department's Special Investigative Unit and members of the Directed Patrol Unit worked with the State Police C-NET on the detail.

Take another look at the Democratic classic the "new" DSS building. A total redo since the entire facade is falling down. Where are the code violations against the
County/contractor? This is symbolic of everything the corrupt County DEMS have done over the past 9 years. Feeding their faces with both hands, giving tax exemptions to the
friends and family club, while the entire County implodes. There are only 2 reasons to go Downtown both illegal. Anyone with half a brain knows there are no shops whatsoever
and there is no art worth a hot damn.

There are a couple places to shop, but they predate Metroplex by decades. We'll see what happens to the Open Door. I would love to do my Christmas shopping downtown, or any shopping, but it doesn't make sense to travel all the way there just for CVS when I have one near my house.
I think that they believe people are going to move into the new government projects for the 'convenience' of urban living and that they will support the stores downtown. Like that instant slum they built on Union Street, perpendicular to the architecturally significant main street, with overhead doors right on the sidewalk, facing a parking lot? Just as soon as they get around to providing a supermarket, that's going to fill up with empty-nesters with money,who want to live close to bars and train tracks and college students.
