Does anyone think that someone who is the "head" of Christian Outreach would be volunteering at the Concern for the Hungry Thanksgiving food basket stuff this week?  Walking around sorting items, filling boxes,   And maybe see the fruits of the city/county/plex leaders who give out 100% permanent tax exemptions to the Galesi and the other multimillionaire property owners downtown while increasing taxes on the homeowners.  Wonder if he is willing to finally admit  the "nayboobs" have been speaking the truth all along, that there is no renaissance in the city, been rather silent lately.

It is the job....or should be the job, of the churches to help the poor.

However....they are hard pressed to keep up with the volume since it is the rich friends and family club that are getting richer off the poor taxpayers.

Yes, but it's terrible when "heads" of Christian Outreach, especially in a Catholic church, cheers for the wild uncontrolled spending of taxpayer money on UNNECESSARY and STUPID fancy lighting on Erie Blvd and on all the other downtown projects when the property owners such as Galesi are multimillionaires and billionaires.  And then these so called Christians/Catholics say the mayor and his dem team are doing a wonderful job and to keep up the good work.

Remember that the catholic church sold it's soul to GOV ALMIGHTY decades ago when it agreed to take tax money.

When I said it was the church's job...I was referring to the 'real independent' churches.

The catholic church is not "REAL"?
Who knew?
Apparently, only Bumbler!

I would say that it is decidedly unchristian to support giveaways to wealthy non-residents. I'm not one of the poor people who might lose an overtaxed house, but every dollar I have stolen from me to give to some connected person with more income than I have, is one dollar less that I can give directly to some needy person. I donate to food drives, and I also like to give to the local toy drives. I would like to give more, but I have some lazy, entitled hogs who need me to help replenish their trough until there is nothing left to fill it with. I would much rather give a doll to some little girl, whose mother will be really happy that her child is valued in the world.

This is the most accurate statement posted in years. Box can stand there with his tongue out for communion (now with government, not with Christ) and wait for his wafer, knowing the priests and witches all fall in line with the agents of the Earthly control. The communists have taken over the church and this was done many years ago, starting in the USA.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

It's like there is no connection between his brain and his fingers doing the typing.

(How did I get in this thread anyway?  Oh yea... Cracker Graham of course! )

Cracker...  "I stand there with my tongue out for communion"???
Really???
