Giant lottery skyscrapers are all across the country, but the schools are broke. The lottery employees are well taken care of. The schools get squat. All the schools in Schenectady county could have bought computers for every student. Instead we have a $5 million lottery building. Everything we let the government run ends up taking care of the government with salaries and pensions, while those they claim to be serving get mugged. Over 25% of our tax dollars goes to former employees. |
