I got a mailer today, very cheesy, knocking "the Mary McClaine Team". There is a tiny, dark, photo which I guess is supposed to be Mary with a crown on her head. Then there are actually pictures of Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck being used to discredit Joe Kelleher, but why I should care if a city council member supports the tea party or not isn't clear to me. They have the nerve to call Mr. Kelleher a carpetbagger, when the people behind this are the worst supporters of carpetbaggery in Schenectady history. This mailer even criticizes poor Mr. Riggi. Very cheesy. Mrs. McClaine may be getting cranky in her old age but who can blame her. She is clearly about 50 IQ points smarter than her detractors. Mocking a citizen her age is unbecoming for anyone seeking public office. "Too extreme for Schenectady"? I'd say the bunch we have now who have abandoned their legal responsibilities to the taxpayers are the 'extremists', if anyone could be called that at this local level. These people had better not come knocking at MY door. I try to show some consideration for anybody running for office, but these arrogant, sneaky, pot-calling-the-kettle- black con artists who aren't fooling anyone have really gotten on my nerves. |

The horrible DEM machine has to lie to keep these failures in power. The only DEM that looks good is Carl Erickson who voted against Karen Johnson's sales tax sellout and cancelled his check to SCDC.
