Yep, the city's mouthpiece newspaper sued the city AND WON.

Hope you all heard it mentioned at the council meeting tonight.


Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.  
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

These lawsuits are public, because they involve the courts. You wouldn't expect reporting on them, because they are an everyday occurrence and not newsworthy, but when it involves city government and the city's only newspaper, it becomes worthy of more exposure, doesn't it? Is the Gazette sick of paying the way too high taxes, like the rest of us, for no benefit to their business? Is that why we are seeing articles like that auction one now, pointing out how the tax to value ratio is ridiculous? It would be nice to be informed, wouldn't it?
