Box fights very hard to make sure people learn to let the government negotiate their wages for them, thereby destroying the last traces of the free market.

Isn't that what campaign promises and elections are?  Let me guess...You cast a vote not out of your own interests, but the interests of everybody else.

The act of voting is an exercise of WIIFM.  Try to run a campaign suggesting privatizing Social Security...Boomers will go crazy with the mere suggestion of messing with their welfare.

try to follow along...pay attention....
you posted about volunteering for voter poll
I replied TO THAT COMMENT NOTHING MORE!!!

Nah...If I was going to be part of the theatrical production that takes place the first Tuesday in November, I'd want to get paid for my roll.

I kinda figured.  "If it doesn't benefit me... screw it!"

Not just that...it's actually detrimental to me.  Not only am I wasting my time with the election charade, it encourages democratized theft, torture and murder.

Yes the voting booth is practically Abu Ghraib.

Hey....this thread is about minimum wage....yes?

YES....minimum wage should be increased!!!
There is W-A-Y T-O-O much greed at the top!!!

who the hell determines your worth as an employee?
the folks at the top who want their lion's share!!
It is yet another rigged system.

and as long as they keep wages at a poverty level, GOV ALMIGHTY will help corporations with corporate welfare.....the low income folks will be subsidized via the taxpayers in the form of welfare, food stamps, section 8 and higher income tax returns!!!

IT'S ALL RIGGED!!

To torture Cicero all you'd have to do is lock him in a room with a ballot, and feed him bread
and water till he votes!

Trade unions are a peaceful group with mouth pieces that still determine what everyone's 'fair share' is....

there are less strikes because people LOOK AROUND AT OTHER PEOPLE and say, 'well, I guess I don't have it any worse than anyone else.'

yeah, it's the 'thank goodness I have a job and I'm so blessed. No need for me to have envy/jealousy or to even try harder.'

sameness is good, if you like sh!t like that.....it's no longer equality or 'fair share'.....it's sameness monotony with a prescribed value placed
on you by someone else/others.....

sometimes pain lets you know you're alive
anger lets you know you're alive
cancer lets you know you're alive
sweat lets you know you're alive
hating your boss lets you know you're alive
happiness lets you know it's there for a reason and you did it
contentment lets you know you did it and it's yours

if we get rid of the fiat system and send everyone back to farming and individual sustenance, cooperating with others when needed
nothing would get stale.....

unions become stale/stable/sameness moving us along like cattle with relabeled feed.....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

To torture Sissy you just have to say Oh no, there is no pay for this, you VOLUNTEERED!
Then you have to call the paramedics!
