better than your way of being: "THERE IS NO HOPE" so why bother trying to make a difference,
even one tiny bit....rather sit back and complain!!!

I'm FULL OF HOPE!  It has nothing to do with pulling the lever for my one of two options on a ballot bought and paid for by corporate interests. Get out and talk to some people.  There is reason to be hopeful.  More and more people are beginning to see the reality of the system.  And legitimizing the system by voting is not the answer that I hear from more and more people.  Non participation is the clearest message that can be made, letting them know that YOU KNOW, it's a rigged system.  It's a corrupt oligarchy, giving two choices bought and paid for by the same corporate interests.  Voting is a waste of time.  It's a heads I win, tails you lose game.

Cissy is a whiner, not a voter.  If he actually VOTED, he'd be responsible for something, and
responsibility is not Cicero's strong suit!
He'd rather sit on his computer and whine about the govt that OTHERS elected.

Voting makes you responsible for something?  Really?  You take responsibility for the actions of people you've never personally met and only have seen on TV or read about in the newspaper?  That's a sad way to live. That's quite the burden you carry.  The millions of dead at the hands of the Federal Government during your lifetime must wear on your mind.  After all, you are responsible for every one of those deaths.  I read now, Barack is droning pregnant Muslim women.  I hope you own up and take responsibility for that one too.

we have a service economy.....we call it civilization...we, for lack of better words, evolved from self subsisting on our own land
to the collective manufacturing(doing it for the country), to a now VERY service based civilization.....

what are servants....THE LOWEST ON THE RING..... who gets paid to control the servants the task masters....do not think
that raising the MINIMUM wage raises ANYTHING.....

it's still the MINIMUM.....

explain why there are 29 year old people still wait staff? it's not a career.....

the minimum is always the minimum even if it's 'raised' it's still at the bottom....the cost of goods go up because you still
require a certain amount of dividend/interest on your wallstreet investments and bank accounts....

go ahead and give the big hearted pat on your back about how you can do without those few dividends for the 'little guy'...

that you now just labeled as the minimum wage workers....the cast system will remain the same because it is a system....

self reliance is much richer...the fiat system requires people to be on each other's backs or up each other's a$$es......all
just fitting in as cogs in a machine....everyone gets 'oiled'

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

I take responsibility for the people I ELECT with my vote.  Given the choices, I'm usually satisfied
with the people that I help elect.
It's a concept that you seem to be so afraid of, it keeps you from participating.  If Cissy can't have it
his way...he will take his vote and go home!

I wasn't old enough to vote for LBJ.  Have you ever voted for anyone?

So you would choose surf n turf if it was one of your choices on the menu, but you'll settle for one of the two choices off of the McDonalds dollar menu.

Who wins the primaries and who runs as an independent (especially in local elections) is also something
that I have a voice in... unless I opt to let others choose my govt as you do.

I wasn't old enough to vote for LBJ.
Have you ever voted for anyone?

I answered your question, but you didn't answer mine.
Again:
Have you ever voted for anyone?

In 2011 I registered as a Republican for the first time and voted in their primaries, and I wrote in Ron Paul in 2012.  I didn't pull the lever for any other office.  About 10 years ago I voted in local elections, I've learned my lesson since.

It's being chosen for you already, you just legitimize it by voting for the choices offered to you.

So in 2011 you became a member of the George Worst Bush party, the Richard Nixon Party and the
party of NO, but you don't agree with their politics.  Or you could say you wanted Prime Rib but
settled for a McGreaseBurger.

Do you agree with Ron Paul on every single issue?  Do you agree with his racist newsletters?  Do you
agree with his politics exactly every time Paul speaks???
Or is Paul just the best alternative of the group?

At least I'm glad to see that in your whole life, you did get involved once.  That's a start!
