"Most fast food workers, who's average is now 29, are on some form of public assistance!" "I for one am tired of helping highly profitable companies pay their workers."

...but not tired of taxing fast food profits to fund other government projects. The left wing politicians exploit the same profits they condemn.

Yes they do. But that has nothing to do with this statement: "I for one am tired of helping highly profitable companies pay their workers."

"In the beginning of a change, the Patriot is a scarce man, brave, hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, however, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a Patriot."
Wages are determined 'collectively' by both Gov Almighty and the corporations!
It is the 'economic system' created and agreed upon on both sides....gov and corps....plain and simple!

Apparently Henry disagrees with this statement: "I for one am tired of helping highly profitable companies pay their workers." I'm surprised!

There will always be a lower class, I can accept that but others I guess can't. If they don't like the job or pay there will always be others who would be glad to do it without b1tching. Even if we raised minimum wage again they would still be the lower class and still be accepted as such by the state, thus in the end you will still be paying for their assistance.

Larger profits means more money coming into the government. The government is just as guilty. They make their money of the the profits made off of the exploitation of cheap labor. Lefty's don't complain about those high profits when used as tax revenue, their only complaint is when they can't get their hands on more of it.

Of course we all know that Cicero's statement isn't true, especially for the big US corporations: Over 10 Percent Of America’s Largest Companies Pay Zero Percent Tax Rates
These tax dodges costs the U.S. about $300 billion per year.

You're right, what they don't pay in tax ends up in BOTH the Republican and Democrat Party campaign coffers. How else do you think OVER $5 BILLION was spent in the presidential election? That was spent for just for one office. What is the total if you total the congressional seats, state houses, local governments? Those tax codes are written to benefit the corporations and the PARTIES(Yes, plural)
and the possibility of making a difference and effecting change if you don't vote is.........ZERO
Ahhh.."Possibility" - Yer a "hope and change" guy. Keep hope alive joe. Things will change.
How many times have they increased the minimum wage in the past 30 years? There are more people getting one form of welfare or another now than ever - 47 million on food stamps.
Yup, lets raise minimum wage AGAIN...Possibly it will do something this time. We can hope it does.

better than your way of being: "THERE IS NO HOPE" so why bother trying to make a difference, even one tiny bit....rather sit back and complain!!!
JUST BECAUSE SISSY SAYS SO DOESN'T MAKE IT SO...BUT HE THINKS IT DOES!!!!! JUST BECAUSE MC1 SAYS SO DOESN'T MAKE IT SO!!!!!

Cissy is a whiner, not a voter. If he actually VOTED, he'd be responsible for something, and responsibility is not Cicero's strong suit! He'd rather sit on his computer and whine about the govt that OTHERS elected.
