Rand Paul... a washed up presidential wanna be.  He was a Texas congressman who
never passed a bill, and was proud of it.  He even voted against hurricane aid for his own
district.

He wants to make weed legal so he does get the druggy vote.  Other than that, he's just a
crazy old man.

Sen. Rand Paul's guest at the Kentucky Derby last weekend was
media tycoon Rupert Murdoch... AKA FoxSnooze

"That Mr. Murdoch, no novice when it comes to matters of political imagery, allowed himself
to be paraded for six hours around the boisterous and bourbon-drenched grounds like a prize
horse behind a proud jockey, amounted to a message to more establishment Republicans that,
as Mr. Murdoch put it, 'I'm very open minded.'" (NY Times)

Expect Paul to get better coverage on Fox News

Rand Paul Has Trouble With The TRUTH Again!
                                          (More Rand Paul Lies)

The Lie:
"For every Kentuckian that has enrolled in Obamacare, 40 have been dropped from their coverage."
The Truth:
Paul said that "for every Kentuckian that has enrolled in Obamacare, 40 have been dropped from
their coverage." That’s not mathematically possible. If you take the narrowest definition
of "sign-ups," there would have to be 3.3 million cancellations in the state for Paul’s statement
to be accurate -- and there aren't even that many Kentuckians with private insurance plans that
could theoretically be canceled.
In fact, it’s reasonable to argue that more people in Kentucky have coverage through Obamacare
than have been canceled.

He's some carnival clown act posing as a politician... he's really funny sometimes!

His dad was a failed comedian too.

~~~ Randy Paul, Against Voter ID Laws! ~~~
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) said Friday it is wrong for the GOP to get to wrapped up in voter
identification laws because they are offending people, in particular African Americans.
“Everybody’s gone completely crazy on this voter ID thing,” Paul told The New York Times.
“I think it’s wrong for Republicans to go too crazy on this issue because it’s offending people.”
Democrats have blasted the effort in Republican states to enact strict voter identification
laws, arguing they disproportionately affect minority voters. Paul acknowledged Friday
that much of the animosity surrounding the debate centers on race.
Republicans claim the laws are essential to combat voter fraud. In past comments, Paul
has acknowledged fraud exists but that "Republicans may have overemphasized this.
I don't know."
A total of 31 states have active voter identification laws. Courts recently struck down
requirement in Wisconsin and Arkansas last month. On Thursday, Pennsylvania decided
against appealing a decision that struck down its voter law last year.
It centers on race because the left made it about race, they were the ones saying minorities were to lazy to go out and get a photo ID, they were the ones who said minorities were to lazy to get to the DMV, they have no shame
voter ID's will be your realID healthcare card...simple....
the public conversation is trying to pry the acceptable name for such an ID without making it offensive....like the title
social security...that sounds like a nice safe title doesn't it????
the IRS likes it too....
and without it you can't even get a bank loan/credit card/savings account or pretty much anything....you are 'out of the system'
so you see....VOTER ID does exist and will be promoted but with different verbage....you won't know your had until you feel
'safe'.....
Really Henry?  I missed the report where the left said minorities are lazy.  Got a link???
Voter ID has nothing to do with 'voter fraud'... The only reason the Right wants voter ID laws is
to limit the turnout of their opposition.
Voter fraud is an almost non existent issue.
WASHINGTON, April 11, 2007 — Five years after the Bush administration began a crackdown on
voter fraud, the Justice Department has turned up virtually no evidence of any organized effort
to skew federal elections, according to court records and interviews.
Although Republican activists have repeatedly said fraud is so
widespread that it has corrupted the political process and, possibly,
cost the party election victories, about 120 people have been charged
and 86 convicted as of last year
.
