The man at the center of his story was convicted for his role in developing 67 lots inside federally protected wetlands, building on wetlands without approval and knowingly selling land with illegal sewage systems that were likely to fail. “Dirt” was the least of his problems.

“Instead, the Kentucky lawmaker is slipping in the polls, lagging in fundraising and losing some of his father’s loyalists over foreign-policy disagreements. Campaign metrics suggest he’s no longer a first-tier candidate after falling behind the front-runners on all those measures.”

Sen. Rand Paul is attributing GOP presidential rival Donald Trump’s rise in the polls to a momentary “loss of sanity.”
“I think this is a temporary sort of loss of sanity, but we’re going to come back to our senses and look for someone serious to lead the country at some point.”

And of course it's not a conspiracy to withhold these "conspiracy" charges until it can be used to discredit a candidate for President of the United States, thereby altering the outcome of an election?
And of course, adding Rand Paul into the announcement isn't a swiftboat tactic?
Did Rand Paul get arrested?
Was he part of the "conspiracy?"
But let's twist the matter into a political propaganda attack.
So 3 persons didn't talk about money they gave a politician, in exchange for his support of someone who isn't under arrest, or even a current candidate.(Ron Paul)
Then use this propaganda to try to link a Presidential candidate to the entire unrelated event.
At least the Huffington Post gave a balanced report of the incident, unlike Boxnews.

Rand Paul (R-Ky.), Ron Paul's son -- were indicted on Wednesday. The three allegedly engaged in a conspiracy to conceal payments made to an Iowa state senator in exchange for his support of the elder Paul's campaign, according to prosecutors.
The three former staffers -- Jesse Benton, John Tate and Dimitrios Kesari -- have been charged with "conspiracy, causing false records to obstruct a contemplated investigation, causing the submission of false campaign expenditure reports to the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and engaging in a scheme to make false statements to the FEC," according to the Justice Department. Benton is also charged with making a false statement to the FBI, while Kesari is charged with obstruction of justice.
The staffers allegedly negotiated with Iowa state Sen. Kent Sorenson (R) -- who had been supporting the presidential campaign of then-Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) -- to switch over and back Ron Paul's campaign instead. The payments totaled $70,000, and were allegedly made in monthly installments of about $8,000 each. Federal prosecutors allege that the payments were hidden as audiovisual expenditures.
"I am not splitting hairs: Sorenson was not getting paid off," Benton allegedly told the FBI in July 2014. Federal prosecutors say that was a lie.
Benton, now the head of Rand Paul's super PAC, was also at one point the campaign manager of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.).
A spokeswoman for Rand Paul's super PAC did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Is it just me or shouldn't the Senator be charged with accepting a bribe,(electronics) for those who allegedly made the illegal donation/bribe or political contribution to be charged.

there will ALWAYS BE and there always has been inequality in a system where the human pays for service from another human.....
the less we do for ourselves individually the more it costs to live....because to be quite honest, I'm not wasting my time doing something for you for nothing (regardless of how much $$ you have) you're going to pay me so that I can pay someone else to do sh!t for me so that I have more time to do things I WANT to do and enjoy before I die.........
we don't understand that it's a race against time and death that gives $$ it's value.....
money to eat money to house money to have water money for transportation money for clothing money for retirement (to do whatever you want) money for vacations...etc etc etc....
our lives are sooooooooooo short on this earth....I don't begrudge anyone who collects $$ to be able to pay someone else so that they have time to enjoy life outside of the greasy disgusting grind of work....
the less someone gets paid the more they have to work to collect $$ to get the things they need and most importantly WANT...
one giant fallacy is the religious belief that 'god has put you in this place and you have everything you need/want'....this did such a good job at keeping people 'content' in their place until they died and gave them a nice little bumper sticker "I didn't have much but I had all god wanted me to have".......no wonder we are where we are today.....

I know...hard work, talents, and skills should in no way reflect how much you earn. I don't know why liberals preach the importance of a college education. What are they trying to do, promote inequality and an economic class structure? You think they would be advocating doing the bare minimum. If everybody just stopped waking up trying to achieve material gains and financial security for themselves and family the world would be a better place.
