Rand Paul wants to end the Dept of Education...
But First He Needs To Learn How To Spell EDUCATION!

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Apples and Oranges?
A direct quote from Rand Paul:
“I have stated many times that I will always support legislation that would end abortion or lead
us in the direction of ending abortion.”

Legislation that would end abortion???  Cissy says it isn't so!

The apples and oranges reference was to you comparing states governing abortion, to taxation.  You threw out a red herring, claiming that I am ok with state taxation because it is somehow similar to states regulating abortion to protect the life of the fetus.  It's apples and oranges.  You are falling off the rails box.

So if a woman used an IUD, which prevents one of Cicero's "PEOPLE" from attaching to the uterus,
that woman would be guilty of MURDER since the little PERSON was killed intentionally by her birth control device.

That would be left up to your state representatives.(like in NY Pre- Roe v Wade, when all abortions were permitted).  Paul's proposal specifically states that women would face no penalty. Paul's proposal grants legal protection to the unborn, and takes away legal protection from abortion doctors.  Doctors can no longer end life without justifying it to a court in their state.

I concede your point on the example you give.  States would have to craft laws very carefully to determine what is a justifiable homicide.

So when the money grubbin' govt takes your hard earned dollars it's OK with you...
as long as the money grubbin' govt is Andrew, and not Barack.
Huh!  Who knew!

No, I never said that. I'll try again.  I never said ANYTHING about taxes.  You are comparing the state governments role in protecting life and liberty for all, to somehow being my endorsement for state taxation.  Get it?  The state governments role in the protection of life, versus, the states role in stealing money from who they want, how much they want, for what ever reason they want. Apples and Oranges.

No Cissy... not "justifiable homicide"... Just ending a pregnancy caused by failed birth control.  Or by
a Rapist or by incest.
In each of those cases, the PEOPLE you cherish would be killed.  Are you now promoting selective killing of
innocent PEOPLE?  Is the Person who happens to have a rapist for a dad, now denied his very life... as Rand
Paul's bill allows?  Paul would allow murdering these PEOPLE simply because of their dad's crime.

Are you really promoting the MURDER of these PEOPLE?

Are you saying that we can MURDER Bob?

You are running away from your own argument.  If the STATE, not the FEDS, are to protect life... as you
so nobly propose, and that protection costs dollars... where is the STATE going to find these dollars
unless they Tax the very citizens you propose they protect?
Who will Pay Cissy??? The FEDS?  Charity??? Just borrow the money from China???
Or are you again suggesting that (as you do every day) citizens use the services of the State, but don't
pay for the costs of those services?

Run away from what?  You are changing to topic of the debate.  You are mixing state's role in the protection of life to arbitrary taxation.  Just because you lost your a** on your misrepresentation of Paul's proposal to "prohibit" abortion, doesn't mean you change or convolute the argument into something you think you can win.

Paul's legislation allows States to decide these issues.  It allows nothing except that states legislate.  The only thing it prohibits is the legal protection abortion doctor currently have.  There is no promotion of selective killing, just the promotion of the states right to legislate how to handle abortion and protect the life of the unborn how they choose.

Yes Cissy... it's pretty apparent what Rand Paul's anti woman bill will do.
It will make abortion ILLEGAL (just as it was before Roe V Wade) by outlawing doctors from preforming
abortion.  In the 'bad old days' before Row V Wade, doctors were not allowed to preform abortions.  Rand
Paul's bill will do the same thing.  The Anti Woman bill will make it ILLEGAL for a doctor to preform abortion.
Huh! Just like before Roe V Wade.  So will abortions stop?  Of course not.  Women will now go to "OTHERS"
to preform the medical procedure.  Unscrupulous premed students, veterinarians, military medics, EMT's,
nurse practitioners,  as well as plumbers, electricians, football quarterbacks... anyone good with his hands
and in need of a few thousand dollars, will now preform ILLEGAL ABORTIONS.  And who do we have to
thank for this anti woman policy... CICERO AND RAND PAUL!
Misogynist around the country will tank you both for your efforts!

NASHUA, N.H. – Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, a newly declared Republican presidential candidate,
is dodging a central question about abortion:
What exceptions, if any, should be made if the procedure were to be banned?

In an interview with The Associated Press on Wednesday, Paul would not say where, in his
view, a pregnant woman's rights begin and those of the fetus end.

"The thing is about abortion — and about a lot of things — is that I think people get tied up
in all these details of, sort of, you're this or this or that, or you're hard and fast (on) one thing
or the other," Paul said.

In the past, Paul has supported legislation that would ban abortion except in cases of rape
or incest or to save the mother's life. At other times, he has backed bills seeking a broader
abortion ban without those exceptions.

Wow!  Box went "sky is falling" full rhetoric mode and stopped debating the actual FACTS of Paul's proposal.  Paul's proposal makes abortion a state issue.  Box doesn't seem to trust state democracy to handle the abortion issue.

No Cissy you are wrong.  Paul's proposal is a WOMAN'S ISSUE.  At a time when abortion rights are being
squeezed from the Right across the country, Randy Paul, who will never become pregnant, is depriving
women of this country a choice... Not rich women, of course, they have always had access to safe private
and timely abortions.  Randy Paul is depriving poor and middle class women the RIGHT TO CHOOSE.

Call it as a States rights issue if you want Cissy... that won't change the facts.   It's an attack on women,
and pandering to the FOXSNOOZE vote... Old White Men!
