The county spends too much money on formaldehyde keeping these retreads running that it is unbelievable.

The Gazetto should be ashamed of itself. One day after the TU they "report". Three days late with the perp still at large. With the politically
correct whitewash and BS about no violent crime Downtown. Speaking of Ms. Formaldehyde Karen Johnson check out her hilarious YouTube video in front of the joke Proctor's
tourism bookcase. Proctor's pays no taxes, refuses to pay ANY PILOT and rips off $200,000 in hotel taxes from the County. Re-elect who?

The thing is, I was expecting something like that to happen at the Bowtie, sooner or later. If they had mainly shown 'arty' type films, it would be okay to attend, but the minute they had a movie appealing to young males, watch out. I've actually had that discussion with people who had asked me whether it was safe to go there. I told them it would depend on what movie was showing. I have spoken to people who've gone there, with no problems other than the usual loudmouths who want to spend ten bucks to sit in a theater and have conversations about something other than the film.

I don't think McCheese can open his mouth, because he might get asked a question, and if he answered some questions he would be exposing the city to lawsuits, and if he refused to answer, or lied, that would look bad, too. As mayor, it would certainly be nice to express his sympathy for someone harmed by attending a movie in the renaissance downtown of his city, but I think he is going to keep quiet and look like a jerk. Remember, the paper already tried to blame the victim. They've all got their fingers crossed, hoping that flies, perhaps.

The Gazetto refused to report on the Bow Tie gang attack of a father and daughter for four f@#$%^ months. Anyone going there should have their head examined. I feel sorry for the restaurant
owners not the Bow Tie tax dodgers. Another Metrograft deal that screws County homeowners. When are you going to wake up? McCheese is a total joke Mayor so pathetic he makes Stratton look good.
He couldn't be re-elected dogcatcher. They need another Election Day High School hand grenade scare to re-elect any of them.

Speaking of the tourism bookcase, the downtown crowd have been busy erasing any remaining trace of our city's past.

And then lying about job "creation". Karen Johnson has lost 50,000 jobs since she was first elected during the Ice Age. She got chased out of the Bellevue Farmer's Market when she tried to peddle her crap by seniors demanding to know why she was running again. It's all about pension points never about serving the people. Got a double dip?

Those with a half a brain.....KNOW....that the city is a high taxed, crime ridden, no jobs scum-hole!!
It really doesn't matter what the gazette spews!
this crap is happening every single day in Schenectady NY.
and it continues to go unreported....TRUTH!

But the truth of the matter is..........it will only get worse....I promise!

Holidays are coming...(no jobs/money)
Cold weather is coming.....(filled homeless shelters/high heat bills)

But folks in Schenectady will only read what the gazette prints ..... fluff 'n stuff!!

Has anyone else noticed that now that more and more people are finding themselves in reduced financial circumstances, now that lots of "regular" people have incomes low enough to qualify for various benefits, now things like Section Eight are getting clamped down on? What the heck? Hand that stuff out freely, in good times, and cut back when people need it most? What do they want, riots?

And the DEMS lie about 6,000 new jobs! That's why our unemployment rate is STILL the highest in the Capital District with 10,000 more unemployed than Saratoga County-no? No one reads the Gazetto under 80. The seniors know they can't sell their property because no one wants the DEM confiscatory taxes and worst school district in Upstate NY. At least the DEMS are no longer imploding together anymore. Perazzo is taking on clueless McCheese and the County DEMS will be wiped out in Glenville. Don't forget the 1,000 home foreclosures a record for a NE City. BTW, another shot gun attack outside Union Inn that the media is whitewashing.

Yes, notice how the dems have REFUSED to produce any documentation to cite where these jobs are, what employers, what is the pay, etc.

And of course if they listed ANYTHING they would include the existing jobs that simply moved from one location within the county to another and the dems would call that "created."

Hey, it's just all taxpayer money being spent and the dems believe that it is improper to produce documentation and a balance sheets for all that plex has done.   Shhhhh, musn't tell the taxpayers how their money is spent.

Well, I tried to find the jobs, for my unemployed friend, HBK couldn't find them, my friend went down to the One Stop, the professionals down there, from DOL, weren't aware of any jobs, either. Jobs with someone already in them don't count, like the DOT jobs, and for what little good those jobs were doing for us, Cuomo took them away anyhow because he hates Schenectady.

Anyone know why there is a low flying helicopter circling downtown right now?

Oh, they fly around for the hell of it, we should not be curious, not every helicopter is an emergency...
Seriously, I don't know, it wouldn't be a medical flight because they only go as far as the high school.

I was wondering about the helicopter too, flew for quite a while many times very low in the downtown area. Just kept circling.

The DEM machine adds up press releases never subtracts huge losses. The 200 white collars jobs fleeing GE are not subtracted out. Schenectady County has the highest
unemployment and biggest County job losses in the Capital District. Moving Transfinder from Erie to State to get another tax give away adds no jobs and further hurts the
old landlord, tax base and existing County taxpayers. But who cares? Downtown is still a ghost town at night. Not one national retailer after $100 MILLION in flushed Metroplex
taxes. Armed robbery still unsolved, more burglaries on Northside/Union Triangle/Stockade, shooting outside Union Inn but shh don't say anything about the DEM implosion........
