If they would just put the taxes back down to the former "too high" level, instead of the "way too high" level, we wouldn't be incurring this expense now, would we?
Speaking of lawsuits, I was having a conversation on that topic with some people, mostly related to what happened at the Bowtie to that Niskayuna ma. One of the lawyers in the group (I'll talk too anybody, I guess) was of the opinion that the city may have been exposed to liability in that debacle. I won't say how, because I don't want to give anybody any ideas. Money the city pays out comes out of our pockets, after all. But the possibility is there, it depends on how shrewd a lawyer the man gets. Sheesh. |
