So you're trying to cover all angles because you have jack sh*t, 1st she is afraid of getting shot, now its she was busy, now she doesn't want to deal with the people. If any of those were the case then she shouldn't of been there in the 1st place. One, I think it's ridiculous that you think that it would be unheard of for someone shot in the head by a psycho to be a bit gun-shy around a group of emotionally heightened gun enthusiasts. You say someone should be willing to die for what they believe in, but that's just stupid. That's how you end up with all these terrorists and extremists and constant violence. Why can't she want to live and talk and educate...die for it, grow up and stop being a barbarian all the time. Why the obsession with death?
Second, I saw plenty of pictures that showed crowds in the background. It looks as though they may have had a large detail of security and media around her that separated her from that group though. There were reports of booing, and only light applause but that most of the interactions between her and others were pleasant. Those interviewed afterwards didn't necessarily disagree with her, they had more issues with NY laws then her stances. Disagreements don't always have to hateful shoutfests, they tend to be more productive when they aren't.

She put herself into a place knowing it would be filled with gun enthusiast, the people you see in the pictures are the dealers not the crowd attending. As I said if she wants us to trust her she should have trust in the people to let her know how we feel. What she wants is not just background checks, which by the way I'm not against unless it is a private sale, but she wants to infringe on the rights of all Americans because of the actions of a few, in her case 1 lone psycho
And her husband is another winner, he spends his time trying to ban assault rifles and large capacity magazines and sure enough he was busted trying to buy an assault rifle and 30rd magazines. This is another case of do what I say not what I do, they don't even follow what they preach but yet I should take them seriously. It's amazing how terrified Henry and Cissy are of one disabled woman who was almost killed while serving in their government as a congressman. It took her years to relearn how to walk and talk and she still has problems with her speech and balance.
