City Police were investigating Friday night a shooting that left one man injured on Eagle Street.

Police said the shooting occurred in front of 27 Eagle St. at 6:35 p.m. When officers arrived, they found a man, whose identity was not released, with gunshot wounds to his arm and torso. The man was taken to Ellis Hospital's McClellan Campus then to Albany Medical Center, police said. His condition was unknown as of 9:15 p.m.

Police said they were continuing to investigate the shooting Friday night. There were no suspects as of 9:15 p.m.

THe helicopter went zooming over my house. This is like a war zone, because I'm off in the distance from the battle, but I see the choppers flying out the wounded.
Pretty soon Halloween will be here. Moms from that side of town sometimes bring their little ones to my house, because they can't take them out where they live. Sad.
