The Dems will do what the Reps do... they will negotiate, find ways to increase revenue, cut spending,
cut costs, and better use the public's tax dollars.

One function of govt is to provide an adequate military.
Another is to help those in this country in need.
Those two items IMO need to be addressed.

To create more revenue and to lessen those citizens in need of assistance there is one major project
that has been ignored by the Republican TeaBaggin GOP for the last 5 years.

JOBS.  Create more jobs and you increase revenue... and lessen the needy.
I'd love to start the debt talks with a REAL BIPARTISAN JOBS PLAN THAT WORKS.

So.  Don't run away from your question.  What are you going to do about the debt???
I know your answer.
Throw moms, babies, old folks, the unemployed, and the poor out into the street.

Job's are great... the only problem is, the retired population is growing and the workforce is shrinking (as a ratio)...and the jobs that are created are either prt time or low wage...

pubs talk about cutting and Dems talk about increasing revenue... they have to admit that BOTH have to happen in a big way to solve the debt problem.
The problem is, their constituency will not accept the medicine and will vote them out of the office for a status Quo candidate instead.
As an example, one of the few things leaders of BOTH parties have agreed on, is their flat out rejection of the Obama's debt commission recommendations, listed in its report. Obama himself didn't even embrace the findings...
In the end, it's all talk from both sides...when they are given the prognosis, they don't want to have anything to do with the treatment

Do you only repeat what you hear on FoxSnooze???

Look at Clinton and Obama in the last chart.  Is that what Shadow is posting about, Dems cutting
spending???
I wonder if Shadow will now post "will the Reps Ever Cut Spending" now that he knows the facts?

And now you see the power of TeaBagger Press and FoxSnooze.

Shadow believes what he hears, then repeats it, but will ignore the facts.

None of those graphs indicate spending was cut.  That's how propaganda works folks.  Box is shown a graph where spending in every graph goes UP, then he claims spending was cut by Obama and Clinton.  The people that unknowingly make such statements as facts on behalf of the regime are called useful idiots.

Spending was CUT compared to the Republican presidents.
The rate of increase means that LESS WAS SPENT... while in the Republican terms MORE WAS SPENT.

So which party spent LESS???
Which Party Cut Spending compared to his Predecessor?
Most Rep presidents spent more than double the Dem president
Some Rep presidents spend almost 7 times more than Obama.

So who do you want to cut spending.  The administrations with a balanced budget (Clinton)?  The
Administration who has a proven track record of SPENDING LESS than the Republicans?

Or the party that spent 7 times more than the Dems.
Of presidents since Reagan, who increased spending the MOST???
And Who the LEAST?

Don't be afraid of the FACTS... Step right up and join the party who is SPENDING LESS..
or
Continue to be ruled by FoxSnooze Propaganda!

the reduction in spending was due to sequestration more than anything else
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Budget_Control_Act_of_2011

No one involved really expected the cuts to kick in, it was more of "doomsday" type of incentive to come to an agreement on a budget before the act took full effect..."doomsday" came and the cuts took effect.. guess what? we survived..contrary to the hand wringing of some.

They all spent MORE.  It increased under every President in the graphs.  What is so hard to understand?  Maybe you didn't mean they cut, but spent less quickly, since I never seen the national debt go down.

Just be honest, you can admit that they are all spending increases.  Just say democrats will increase spending less quickly than the Republicans historically.  But don't be dishonest and try to say an increase in spending is a spending cut.

Hmmmmm....I am $20K in debt on my credit card this year, I really need to cut my spending and pay down this debt, so I'll only add an additional $10K in debt next year for a total of $30K of debt.  So I cut my usual $20K of annual debt by 50%!!!

So you have an excuse for Obama... what about Bill Clinton?
Republicans HATED Bill Clinton and were obsessed with the "blue dress" but they hated Clinton all the
way to the Bank$$$.

So who's up next... Bill's Wife Hillary!  And the GOP will hate Hillary all the way to the Bank$$$

OK Cissy.  A question.

Are we better off with the Clinton/Obama reduced spending or if the Republicans continued with their
plan during the Clinton/Obama years.

If we had continued with Reagan/Bush agenda, we would have increased another what 7 or 8 %
Then another 7 or 8% if we continued with the W Agenda instead of Obama.
Would the debt be smaller if we had continued with the REP plan or the DEM plan???

I'll wait for Cissy to get out his calculator... but his response will be a dodge or he will run away.

You are moving the bar.  All I did was point out your misleading "spending cut" lie. Just admit, there are never spending cuts.

You are now asking me to decide on the pace of debt and which President's growth of the federal government is better?  It's all bad!.  Maybe that's why you have a tough time understanding the current climate of America, and why both parties are getting destroyed in public polls.  You can't throw out Reagan's name anymore and expect "conservatives" to fall in line and support deficit spending.  A lot of people I talk to that used to idolize Reagan as the textbook conservative and how government ought to be, don't hold him in high regard anymore.  He no longer speaks from the grave and woo's the "conservative" masses.

As I suspected.  He opted for the DODGE.
